With the Advent of new trade changes and a new boat on the way, I've got an idea or two for new tools to add to the game. I think each of the life skills should have an appropriate tool to go along with them for additional boosts.

For trading, perhaps a coinbox or similar item to add a boost to the amount of gold earned or an decrease in the amount of value lost with time.

For sailing, perhaps a rigging knife. It could provide a boost to ship speed, durability, exp, and/or give access to the Mermaid's Wish buff. I think an exp boost would be especially good, particularly with how slow it is to gain sailing exp even with a silver embroidered outfit.

Finally, for bartering, perhaps a certificate, emblem, or pass that reduces parley costs further or increases the amount of crow coins earned from barters and/or quests, and/or a boost to exp earned. Again, I believe an exp boost would be particularly good given the abysmally slow rate at which the skill progresses as it stands.

I love the presence of tools in the game as it is a pleasant method for gaining additional reasonable bonuses beyond skill level and am a firm supporter of seeing more implemented for each life skill.

I'm still of the mind that sailing in particular needs some major reworks as it is still exceedingly buggy, but that's for a different post.
