This would be a nice quality of life that's for sure but as someone who has played wizard since beta and awk wiz since it came out i can honestly say it's not a big deal unless you are being spawn camped in like sycraia or Hystria where you have to tear or be sent out when you respawn
its more about pet dieing to enemyblobs without u having any way to prevent it. then u lose your whole reboot "boost". its simply stupid design. imagine sorc losing iframeswhen enemy blob colidesinto yours.

The post was made more for the pvp aspects of the game, in which its a huge deal.
That being said, it would still be nice not to have to cast it every hour while doing PVE.
In addition, considering the pet does absolute nothing in PVE, it would make more sense just to remove the pet and merge the buffs into the skills.
The pet in its current itteration is nothing more than aesthetics in PVE.
The same arguement could be made for PVP, considering its only claim to fame is stunning someone, assuming you're even fighting someone with gaps in their movement.
