I like the idea of a Lifeskill Skill tree/page.
Why not perhaps have no level at all where PvP against you is mandated. Have all characters start immune to all PvP, until the first time they toggle PvP ('flag up') to kill someone, or take part in node/siege etc. Thereafter that character is then subject to the server PvP rules as they are currently live. That way players that want to PvP on their character can actively initiate it and be able to engage in it with the liked-minded. And players that want nothing to do with PvP can similarly keep to themselves.

It's looks like we just wasting our time here to make these suggestions... the feedback board mostly pvp ,pve and shai.....
This topic has been discussed many times already on the forum and never it led to any change.
The GMs already said that the game is for pvp content and it is an open world, open to all kind of interactions.
There's not enough upvotes for that, or if there are, they generaly don't overcome the downvotes.
As long as this topic doesn't have a true majority of upvotes, the discussion won't be reopened by PA.

Yeah, but an MMORPG not just about Pííívííípíííí... that is just a part of it. Many aspect likes by players. And as PVP based on a violent behavior (and encourages it), it gives a bad impression on people not wanted to do it ATM.
PVP is a good thing - but must have chance to avoid if that is the wish of the player. Because PVP in life skill gear during lifeskill is like someone starting a fist fight with you when you sit on the toilet.
I'd be interested in a survey where they ask players about their views on PvP in order to see what people think about it. Currently, the open world PvP from my point of view is simply there so that people with far better gear can grief people who are moving between cities, leveling horses, trading or are simply undergeared or unexperienced (as those who do enjoy PvP as have Arsha). In other words, I feel like I'm a NPC who's there for someone else's enjoyment.
The karma penalties on land are almost non-existing to boot and I'm honestly surprised that more trolls haven't picked up on it. Only place where Karma on land seem to incur any penalty whatsoever is in the desert.

That is why many of us want some changes eg life skill charachters or gear, or just some changes against players who harrasing others.

The karma should be familiy wide... also, more harsh, like irregular times random asassin mobs spawn on you and attack (like in Thorgast in WoW), or lose half of your DP for that time, etc... so the karma loss would mean something.
I love PVP but ganking is just harassmnet, real PVP players are in arena, in siege, or with friend is Battle Arena. Gankers should be suffer for being losers...
