Archaeologist's Map and Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Compass are old treasures. They are very annoying to get and once you have them, they are useless.

Quick explanation of what they do :
Map : Being able to teleport yourself from any place to nearest city and being able to take a TP to come back to your previous location.
Compass : Being able to teleport 4 players to your location and see yourself in the desert / ocean.

First issue : Both have big cool-down, 6 hours for map and 10 hours for compass.
Second issue : There is Magnus now. You can use to move faster from a region to another, making them pointless.

The idea is simple.
Reduced both cool-down to 1 hour.
Allow map's user to teleport themselves to any cities, regardless of their location.
Allow compass' user to teleport a whole platoon.

Map i guess 1 hour would be fine across the board because of magnus but tping to any location is sus.

A whole platoon? Really ? I have the compass an can say that a whole platoon being summonable is broken. If your wanting it to gank in guild wars or other pvp you would be able to with this suggestion, hell nah, this would allow you to summon two platoons because of tagged chars thats just about half a guild....
