So, since the horse teleport update a few weeks ago, I've been dealing with my horse constantly teleporting to me as I go through quests. He's stopped right on top of the NPC I need to talk to to continue the quest line, ended up stuck in furniture or inside buildings, gotten itself into the middle of mobs and all sort of shenanigans.
Now I'm doing the Magnus questline and I'm ported from the well near Altinova to the Calpheon library for a cutscene, and then I'm directed to go back to the well at Gabino farm to go back to the Magnus.
I ask you, dear reader, where is my horse so I can do this? Not in the Calpheon library, but by the well in Altinova where the cutscene started.
Wasn't this the entire point of the update? That when you get ported by a cutscene your horse would follow?
Thankfully, this is my character that has the celestial flute, so I'm just amused.

I keep forgetting: there are many times where I wish I had a way to tell the horse to go away. Would be nice if the horn would do something like that too, but I'm not sure how that sort of thing would work.

Shooing / Shoeing...
Soo annoying feature, my horse died or nearly died so often when it has been teleported right next to me into mob spawn when you quickly accept the next quest step etc. PLEASE give us an option to leash your horse in a safe spot or toggle the feature on or off globally i don't care but don't randomly teleport my horse into danger it is annoying when you are 3000 miles away from any stable and your horse gets killed all the time
