Considering pre-existing characters can do the Mountain of Eternal Winter quest line, I think waiting a few weeks or not is a personal decision.
But I'm a bit confused by the way you formatted your post. Your title is a question, but your formatting is like a suggestion. Is your suggestion that we wait? Or that PA delay the season (it's too late for that)
