Hello, this is basic idea of a Family Reunion:

As most of players have multiple characters on their accounts, I think it would be fun to see them all together. Especially as BDO allows to create really pretty characters, with great outfits, and actually encourages to have many of them. That should be a great opportunity to have really nice screen shots of your characters together, have some fun with posing them, and also nice selling point for the mansion 😊

Story wise, all characters belonging to a single account are from one family, as it is used in the fast questline on season characters, so this also should fit into world.

Also, I think that idea should be easy to implement, (although I may be very wrong :/ ).

Story wise background: Igor Bartali (or Fughar) recognizing your family contribution to world of Black Desert wants to have something to remember your family by, and asks you for a family portrait, or to meet all of them in one of you residences. To have it, you need to gather your family members in one place. After doing it once, black spirit thinks that it is fun, and gives you the option to repeat it on command.

Gameplay background and ideas:

There is an option, (maybe through black spirit repeatable quest, or with paying silver to mansion buttler) to gather your all/or selected characters in a location of your choice, to see them all, ask them for wellbeing maybe get some buff. Option is available when player have at least 3 characters, a residence, and has finished the story up to Mediah once.

I think that up to five characters should be able to be gathered in a residence, and all family should be able to be gathered in the mansion - with current character slot cap that should be easy. Unactive characters after reunion call/quest travel in normal travel speed (20 minutes) from their current location to family reunion place (similar to the Transport Mechanic). Upon arrival, the active character can see them all in one place when entering the location. They are either on random idle animations and places (in residence/mansion), or in place that player will leave them during switching active characters, so for example if player will lean on wall and then switch to other characters during reunion, previous character will still lean on wall, sit on furniture, they are in selected social action, and so on. It should give opportunities to arrange really great family photos.

More advanced possibility would be to let them walk on some path, do some stuff randomly, but I think that leaving them as they are should be good enough.

During duration of family reunion all/or selected family members are on same the location when switching characters. When the reunion ends, they travel back, again with normal travel speed (20 minutes) to their previous locations.

I tried to look up in search if somebody has similar idea, and also scan like last few pages of topic in suggestions, but I was unable to find something like that. If someone else already have this idea, well… great minds think alike, and so on ;)

I'd much rather the option to see one/more of my family characters at home compared to maids/butlers. It's a nice idea.

I have always wanted the option to be able to see all my characters within my residences, or atleast the ones that i have left within that residence while im playing on a single character. Have a way to leave them positioned, whether that be standing with a weapon out, doing an emote, or sitting in a chair. Really embody that family feeling when i return from grinding, lifeskilling, or adventuring. Also would really let me enjoy and still feel like the characters that i don't have time to play are still there and don't feel forgotten.

Bringing the family together?  Great idea!

Lost Ark did something like this. All the characters on your account were essentially items that could be placed in your house/island. I don't recall if they had poses or not, but I at least remember being able to place them on beds and chairs. I would love to see something like this in BDO!

I've been thinking about it for a while... It would be nice to see all our characters together at home 😊

my alt shais made for milking long time ago gonna make this option really awkward. at least put an option of which family members arent slaving for mains so we can click them off this.... gathering :D

You know, reading them I realize that the budget option, without any plot explanaition  would be thing that Reverielle proposed:  put option to switch/replace buttlers with family members. And set option in character chart, possibly in this one that is in title selection for character "show/don`t show" in family reunions, if we want/dont want some characters in residence.

So yeah, thank you for comments, hopefully devs will implement it in some way, eventually :-)
