Hello fellow adventurers, and if this reaches your attention, the lovely Black Desert team as well.

Today I put forth a suggestion to increase the utility, and excitement, of Arsha beyond the karma free killing and 50% drop rate. I propose this to be done with one of two systems of PvP bounties on the Arsha channel. To summarize, Part One is a system where you gain points from slaying monsters, and can steal others points, higher points giving higher rewards. Part Two is a simpler system of killing players increasing your "bounty threat level," which can be claimed after a certain threshold, and this system works off a reward seal system. Let us delve into them more.

PART ONE - Grinding

Some may be familiar with a system from Black Desert Mobile, in which Hadum Valencia grind zones can occasionally be under the influence of the Black Sun. What this does is make it a full pvp zone, with a point system above players heads. This system is similar to the Red Battlefield personal score mechanic, where killing a player gains you, and dying to one loses you, points based on the score of whoever died. The main difference in this system is that points are only generated by killing monster, killing only transfers points. From this part on it differs for my concept.

SYSTEM DETAILS-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When playing on the Arsha Channel, a set number of grind zones will become "Permeated by Death," or a similar name. This rotates every one or two hours, depending on needed balancing for enjoyment. While this is in effect, the sky in this node will turn to fog, or a similar effect to convey the difference happening, perhaps a purple tint. All monsters in the zone will have lowered health and defenses, but increased damage. Killing the monster will grant you an amount of points above your head suitable for the clear speed of the area. Killing a player steals part of their points, and thus yours are lowered when you die to a player. The point score in this part are tracked until the end of the zone effect. Points will give or take away your drop rate bonus. Everyone starts with +100% drop rate in the zone, and goining points increases this slowly, up to 300%. However, although you start with 0 points and still drop bonus, it will not increase until a higher threshold, and from there losing any points will decrease it, down to -100% drop rate. Getting a rare drop could also increase your points, if more incentive is needed, as you can hunt people who get rare drops for their bonus points. At the end of the zone effect, you will gain seals for helpful rewards to increase volume on market.

PART TWO - Arsha Bounties

This second system is a simple counter for Bounty Score on players in Arsha. You accumulate this by killing other players. Each kill is worth a set amount, and Unique kills are worth twice as much. Unique kills are remembered for 15 minutes, after which you can gain a new Unique kill on that player again. You have no bounty until a certain hreshold is reached, at which point you become a Dangerous Bounty, and are announced as such to everyone within the region [ie. Valencia, Kamasylvia.]  At this point, your Bounty Score will double each kill, but halve each death. If you do not have a Bounty on you currently, killing a Dangerous Bounty player will grant you Seals of Justice, an item that can be traded for a pool of buff items for PvP, as well as the usual caphras/masses. You can cash in your bounty at any point, for Seals of Sinful Blood, an item that can be traded for a pool of greater PvP items, including immortal draughts/perfumes, alongside sizeable valuable rewards. This is not a time event, and runs at all times.

The system looks interesting as long as the rewards are not excessive, but I still think that any attempt to emphasize owpvp should be done on regular channels first.

Would be cool to have something like that in the game.

I can see your point there. Would the grinding variant be suitable for normal channels in your mind, at a lower frequency?
