I was thinking of ideas on increasing the failstack, on enhancement failures - Which would, in turn, leave other aspects (Like repairing, and percentage of success) alone.
The main idea I was wanting to pitch, was to add a multiplier based on the rarity (Rounding up):
Default base fail +1
White (Default)
Green | x 1.5
Blue | x 2.25
Yellow | x 3.1
Orange | x 4.05
When you reach Enhancement Level Pri on certain gear, there currently is an increase in each fail stack you obtain
Pri -> Duo is +2
Duo -> Tri is +3
Tri -> Tet is +4
Tet -> Pen is +5
For those items that follow the increase system, you could have a multiplier adjust values based on the default increase and rarity, like:
Base Fail: | <- PRI | PRI -> DUO | DUO -> TRI | TRI -> TET | TET -> PEN |
White | +1 | +2 | +3 | +4 | +5 |
Green (x1.5) | +2 | +3 | +5 | +6 | +8 |

By having decimals and forcing them to round up, it tries to lessen rarity staggering
So-as to prevent someone from just failing on a lower tier to achieve the same failstack
A multiplier would make failing attempts on a higher grade, as well as a higher tier, be more worth it; Making it not be as punishing if you don't cron.
Introducing a multiplier, also makes lower grades also worth doing more, if you still don't want to repair expensive gear.

This is not wow. Item rarity is almost irrelevant, PA just color the items however they please.
Also this would be an extreme buff to failstacking and would literately change nothing on how items are used, it would only devalue fs even more.

Although, I can agree on some Rarity needing changed colour... Especially drops that have devalued in price now, I still feel there needs to be a change.
Currently, you can failstack on a lvl 14 reblath, and achieve same increase as a TET Debo
You could also achieve same Increase on Tri Kzarka, as a Tri Blackstar
It costs more to repair the more rare items here, yet achieves same Failstack
If anything there needs to be a division of failstacking to make it not worthless building failstacks, or tapping on what you actually want
Yet, still having it be worth it to build on regular green gear, by having tweaks aswell.
