considering how many more NA players there are, the choice is obvious

Is oce actually as small a minority as people say, with PAs showing statistic may even be enough of a player base to warrant a OCE server. Moving servers without saying whats happening with oce since NA right now states it is NA/OCE , they havent mentioned a thing about oce. If the do cuck oce they will lose players from the region or people from NA will complain desync is worse because of OCE.

They need better servers or split OCE from NA . Giving oce their own server an NA central servers.

they've literally already announced that it will be happening. They've tested it and the results showed the change wouldn't be effective.

Moving the server would just hurt the ping of West Coast players to make a barely noticable impact for East Coast.

The only solution would be to make a second server for East Coast players, like other MMOS do.

WoW for example has a server in Los Angeles, Phoenix, New York, and Chicago.

I'm going to assume you arent big into IT / networking. Their claim that it "wouldn't be effective" is just false. If they ever even did say that to begin with. Which if they did, is just an excuse to try and get them out of having to do more work / spend a bit of money.

+1 the servers should be moved to Chicago, Ohio, Virginia, or New York. There are way more people on the east coast than the west coast. The easy solution so that no one is truly butt-hurt over it is to move it somewhere central.

source on there being more people on east coast?

Considering how much more American players pay for pearls/outfits, to actually buy this game Youd think the devs would open more servers but no.. Sense were not KR the devs really couldnt care less what we do or say.. Funny that isnt it?

There's literally a SEA server thats much closer than NA?

1. there was no SEA setver when the game launched which is when I began playing.

2. I have spent a lot of my hard earned cash playing on the NA server.

3. I have played over ten thousand hours and built three eperia sailboats and have made two carracks.

4. Iam not starting from scratch.

5. The SEA servers have just as bad ping for most Oceania players.

6. The rudeness and lack of care you show to your fellow gamers is disgusting.

This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.

Oceania servers have already reported that their ping to SEA is in no way better than to the current location in NA. Not to mention that many had accounts before the SEA server was opened in the first place, as it is a few years younger than NAEU.

It doesnt really matter if theres only 1% AUS people on the server. The server was set up to also service them, so unless there is a solution, moving the servers would be extremely unfair.

did south america player played on NA before they transfert to SA server ?

Some of them did, if they wanted to. Some of those stayed. Some did not, for both. But SA countries were never included in the serviced regions for NAEU, and they would have been blocked during the Kakao times. Aka, they would have been "wrong" on the NAEU server, which OCE players never were.
