But lamenting the new system over something as silly as storage space, which can be fixed with just a bit of effort, just feels...wrong.

Since I last posted, it's been about two months. In that time, my single Velia ash lumber node with max level Artisan human worker has produced 22.6 mil silver in lumbering byproducts. That's assuming everything is sold on the market for the listed price, and after taxes with value pack. Also keep in mind that my computer is on nearly 24/7 (for various other reasons than BDO).

That comes to about 11 million per month average, per node, at the cost of permanently losing five storage slots. CP is a more valuable and limited resource than a few million silver, especially once you start nearing the soft caps. The CP I spend on extra storage could be invested into an actual ore or lumber node instead.

I can try making the byproduct stacking more efficient by moving all lumber/ore products to one central city, but the side effect of this would be that I'd have to buy significantly more storage at this city, probably having to resort to the less CP-efficient storage buildings. I'd guess that overall it'd be about the same, minus the rather large inconvenience of having to rework my existing worker network and moving all my resources.

In comparison, I make over 29 million per day from family fame (882 mil/month), and it costs no storage space. Even overnight lazy shore fishing at Velia will net me 30-50 million, not including relic sales. This does take inventory space but it's temporary.

I should point out that the current Sea Palace event where you fight Baby Vell gives a reward bag that pops open into multiple random amounts of items, so they certainly know how to do it. It really makes no sense that there is a sack for every node type except lumbering, which wastes an additional five storage slots for some occasional low-value byproducts. It's simply not worth the space.

And frankly, it really shouldn't be taking months to fix something this simple, but maybe that's a story everyone's used to by now.
