BDO needs to get rid of the 7-Day Trial and do this instead....

The 7-Day Trail needs to go, as it does nothing for a newer player looking into getting into the game and here is why!

1. 7 Day trial just isnt enough time to ACTUALY truly try out BDO, because of how huge the game is and what it has to offer and on top of that on how complexed it is also. So 7-Days just isnt enough time at all for a NEW player to see what BDO is all about and experiance is brilliance.
2. I have had a lot of people try out the 7-day trial and they felt that they needed more time, as they felt rushed and pushed into rushed decisions, as BDO is virtually in its own genre and in a league of its own. So its understandable as to why, they wouldnt know if the game was for them or not.

You got to look at things from a NEW players POV and their perspective, this is a MMORPG! so most players like to enjoy the ride, but the people i was trying to get into BDO, they wanted to go through the story mode and it virtually had taken them almost the entire 7-days, just to play the story and most of them didnt even get into Altinova, all because they were enjoy taking their time listening and watching all the cutscences etc. Instead of doing what all the veteran players do skip stuff by smashing that "R".
(Sometimes i wonder if BDO veteran players can do one finger push-ups like Bruce Lee, with that "R" finger, lol)
Some of my other friends i tried to just rush them through the game and just get them to level 60, as i was hammering tonnes and tonnes of info down their throat, which also turned them off the game, because it was just too much info for them to try and sink in all at one time and was causing them brain meltdowns with brain overload.

So here is my suggestion, but before i begin i must point out that this isnt my idea, this concept came from another game that i played in the past and i think its the absolute BEST and ONLY way for the game developers from BDO, to get newer people interested into their game and not only that, also allows our friends to socialize through BDO too.

Here is what you do...

Step 1. Remove this 7-Day trial crap out of the game.
Step 2. Replace it with 2 free character slots. SO they can only have a limited 2 characters slot available to them.
Step 3. Have a custom 7-Time daily login rewards, almost the same as the 7-Day trial would give but instead of days, just have it to when they login for the first 7 times.
Step 4. Dont allow them access to their Daily Loyalties Points, but have them accumalate as normal, just not allow them to spend them.
Step 5. Limit these free accounts to 5-Billion ingame silver, any excess $$$ goes into an over flow escrow account. So they can only spend 5 Billion max at a time (Personally i think 3 Billion in enough, i just said 5 Billion because im taking in consideration inflation, by the time the dev impliment this new concept)

Step 6. Allow them to collect the rewards from the "REWARDS TAB - under My Information" window, but NOT allow them to collect rewards from the "Black Spirit" window/tab, let it accumalate.
Step 7. Allow them to collect the rewards from the coupon codes OR store them in the "Black Spirit" bank.

Step 8. Allow them to spend $$$ in the ingame cash shop. If they wish to buy outfits, pets, etc... let them go a it! More $$$ for you anyways...
(NOTE: this is merely a guide not a concrete stance, BDO could perhaps offer 4 slots, 6 slots or have escrow limit to 10 Billion or 1 Billion, etc... AGAIN this was just to outline the idea/concept on how to limit certain functionality within the FREE ACCOUNTS)

So the BDO package window will have this instead...

(Im Australian so its in AUD pricing)
FREE ACCOUNT (but with limitations/restrictions)
$10 Game Pass - Travelers Edition

$40 Game Pass + extras - Explorers Edition
$90 Game Pass + More Extras - Conqueror Edition

Once the new player decides they want to now play BDO full time and pay for a game pass, then all resctrictions/limitations unlock for the newer player.

All i am saying is A) this is how i got started in that other game before BDO, i was allowed 4 free characters with limitations and after a couple of months i became a full on member, only because i got to learn the new game at my own pace and saw what it was all about, without feeling like i was rushed and pushed into making decisions under pressure.

AND B) i didnt loose any progress that i had made through me playing the game. It actually felt great TBH, playing a game watching all my stuff accumalate knowing that IF i decide to play this game full time, all i had to do was pay for the game. Have all the restrictions/limitations lifted and unlock all my progression & rewards.

Now this game i played was about 10% of the scale of BDO and no where near the magnitude and scale of BDO, so how can a new player understand and know all the glory of BDO over 7-Days?
Honestly think about it for one minute, we have frigging databases of guides and how to's etc... of the game and loads more to know and you expect a NEW player to know and  learn all this in just 7-days? Just ridiculous...

I just think giving a new player a FREE ACCOUNT with retricted access of 2 characters and let them play BDO without the feeling of being pressured to make a quick decision into a game that is virtually a lifestyle of a game, would be good for BDO to expand its player base for now and the future!

And there is absolutely no downside for Pearl Abyss at all.

I would really like to hear what others think also about this idea/concept as well as i think not only would it bring more people into the game, but allow others to socialize with their circle of friends and family through the game and would create a better community for everyone.

Cheers,

***EDITED***

I forgot to add/mention that my friends either went back to or started to play other games like, Path of Exile, Diablo, Red Dead Redemption, etc..
And NO! money wasnt the issue why didnt want to play BDO, it was because they didnt fully understand the game and didnt want to sink money and time into a game that was too confusing for them.
Its just a shame because i think they would of enjoyed BDO if they just had more time to see all of its beauty and content!

Not bad overall, but the idea of goldsellers / goldscammers being able to play freely forever and interact with the market up to 3 or 5 billions without restrictions sends shivers down my spine...

Honestly, if I already spent 7 days playing a game, I'd pay the 10 dollars to buy it if that's the price tag.

huuf, just buy the whole game. pay 10$ and be done. you don't have to pay for monthly sub like wow has and unlike wow where u can't reach above lvl 20, BDO atleast offers full control for players to test game for 7 days. 7 days-trial of BDO is not ment for new players to actually play the game, it's meant for new players to know the game, it's combat, lifeskills, world, gear progression system.

It's $10 for the game, if you tried it out for 7 days and still want to play.  Pay the $10.  There are many $0.99 events, you can wait until then.  When the free period is longer than 7 days many more things happen that mess things up.

I personally think they should just do away with the 7 day trial all together, considering it's only $10, just skip your mocha non fat double espresso triple shot latte one day and you can buy a game.
