It was that skill that made me think about having a proper look at things (at least start asking for other input, and not rushing out videos of what I think is correct :P)

that skills and given the range and usefulness of other skills shai has, and where that vaccum skills works (haha) show it more than a dead skill.

A waste of shai designated utility allowance (when they are looking at distributing the values of ability on a class)

Fact is, it’s so dead and outdate it  open up a good stating point for a skills rework, and if there is more needed (and can be reasoned) on top of that... then may PA open up a rework dev window for shai?

I know, a hopium, but you don’t get if you don’t ask.

Yup. Shai is a great class. I think people who look down on her don't realize her utility at end-game grind spots (solo and party). I highly enjoy getting to take part in group content and I think her animations/AoEs are fantastic. She needs an iframe or FGs or something, though. I have about four skills locked 85% of the time. Her vacuum skill is completely useless for anything but gathering and even then it's lackluster. Just becoming an evasion meme anytime someone tries to take your spot isn't that fun anymore. And sorry, but the random and blatant disrespect from the player base on the shai class probably doesn't make PA anymore interested in improving it. It's literally just edgelord males who feel like they gain testosterone points by hating on anything "girly" in an online video game and crap themselves over any class that could be tagged as a support and isn't a "dueler" like woosa. Make like a tree and go play your little striker ninja guy, shais don't need you.

Yup.. A lot would like to pretend the community as a whole is welcoming and accepting.. but that’s not  the reality.

(some of you may really believe it is all smiles. because you live-in a nice guild and a close environment… I don’t, see my channel, I even joined my worst enemies’ guild to get their perspective on BDO and community)

Shai brought a lot of new gamers, not only into BDO but back into gaming.

Some very old, a not your typically driven progress gamers after kills and levels. Also a market PA really wanna push into (there be deep pockets there, and these player tent to make their own in game content if you hand them a few tools –music /dance …)

Such players have been left confused by the interaction they face from some players (not actually that many toxic players, but no one was holding them to account!) , and has put some of the game altogether.

I have worked hard to let these player know it’s okay to come to me and explain what happening (I'm only one person and conversation can go on for hours, I can’t listen to everyone), and I will see what I can do to help, even with my limited social skills (autism)

And why I’ve been so determined to get the class and player of shai a bit more respect (its not jsut a stadard class but an entery into game for some,need scope if they are gonna remain). Form steamer, Staff and player (but players be players, and staff need to deal with that)

Have seen changes over the last year from staff, not allowing some of the most disgusting, or at least unacceptable behavior toward shai players (you can’t call people a lot of things in the game ‘F’-‘N’-‘R’, but some ‘players’ where aloud to make jokes (that some of us have had to deal with the real harm of that topic in RL) about the vilest topics and direct them and people for the class the play…UNACCEPTABLE)… and over the last 6 months, we have seen a change in how some streamer view and talk about shai and is playerd (say about 50%, the rest I would still call ‘lad’ gamers… If they want to keep being that that, well I’m coming to get ya :P)

Strange thing about shai and the class, This disrespect, and allowance (though not by staff anymore) of hateful and sick behavior to the player behind the screen, it’s not common outside the west.

Seems to be an issue we have here, and due to meme and internet culture of the west, it has been see as okay and cool. Even by the staff in the Past (I think I have made it clear why it is not via tickets)

I agree that shai has been push to the bottom of actual function adjustment, and for 2 main reasons.

One)

The misunderstanding of her none aggressive position (and Partly PA's lack of understanding of cultural diffrences in game play between KR and West. We have explained this many time, have staff passed it on?). so it’s see to be okay to ignore or low prioritise anything that is not 'game braking' or 'social.'

This lead to issues that need addressing that are outright broken or outdated.

Two)

Shai has been cast as a joke. Yet again this is a west view and was also promoted by staff about 2 years ago now. Laughing at the class and making jokes and memes on official cast linked with PA. I was embarrassed for the staff, never seen such immaturity (notice that cast isn’t official listed  ... oh well it will be out there somewhere)

I’m sure they got a telling off, as it was soon knocked on the head… thing was, we got to see what they thought, before they were told, ‘no! that is not okay, shai is a company asset, and you are ridiculing it on our company stream’ (but remember staff are just ex-players in most cases, so what do you expect)

Sad that is has taken this long and a lot of effort, and some slaps on the wrist for staff, to get where we are today. I can only hope the staff continue to improve and also taking into account the years of neglect the class has before they changed their ways… and now it’s time for a catch up session.

Addition (to staff);

I am more than willing to chill on my reporting of staff in my videos. I have seen you listen, and happy to wait and see if things have change. Although my methods where dramatic and blunt, they were and are the only tools I have.

I don’t wanna be bashing staff or PA, nor any player, I do not get a kick out out it, it dosen not make me feel powerfull or happy (I hate it and think who much time some video took to make –the 1 hour long one, from a 6month investigation!!!)...

but i also don’t want unhappy players having to come to me with issues that should not exist in the game, and they feel they have nowhere to turn in the community (most still refuse to come here and the discord seems unwilling/unfit to meet their needs)

…no one to turn too, apart t from one bad spelling, autistics and very grumpy shai!
