Now that I've actually bothered to activate many Nodes and hire hundreds of workers, the spam of "Worker completed X task" never stops.

I know most people don't care and mindlessly play the game and on mute, but those of us who like to play with the sound on and explore the game have to deal with constant alert sounds from workers and the text popping every damn minute.

There's already an option to turn off all the other annoying and needless notifictions, why not this one too?

This is such a killjoy and I really hope they add a way to disable it... it couldn't be hard to implement, could it?

but amen OP, it is atrocious. Tried to record a player song the other days, cancelled so many times because of notification sound from harvesting random shit.

And then there is the screen spam in general which is another plague. I always get a smile out of the beauty album screenshots that get photobombed by harvesting 6 potatoes.

..and then sometimes there will be notification that you want to actually see, but you just logged in and there are 20 seconds of worker notifications before you can see the notification that was actually affecting you.

I assume that the reason they havent addressed it at this point is because they reasonably cant... but Ive made that assumption before only to find out that PA easily fixed it once they cared

Good that you mentioned this. Sometimes looking at new shop items introduced on a patch i have had to wait 5-10 minutes to get a clean screenshot i could share with my friends. No idea why these notification texts are allowed to bleed into Cash Shop.

Nobody has died from worker notifications, even after several bouts of chemo, so no, they are not cancer.

They are annoying though, and there should be a way to disable them in the settings.

And yes. The Calamity notifications are waaaay worse.

I canceled all my worker tasks because of this. having 120+ workers with 20 min work times was getting frustrating.

A simple, "disable all the fucking notifications, yes I mean it, ALL OF THEM" button in the option. How hard can that be ?

I think I'll be disabling all worker tasks as well, this was only getting worse.
