Other adventurer alerts at top of screen?

How I turn this crap off? I haven't messed with any settings, all alerts have been disabled for years. After todays update I'm now getting alerts about adventueres being vanquished and I can't find where to turn this off.

Luckily it has been made into a toggle on Glabs, I hope we will get it soon.
