Yeah he seemed impossible. I thought the Aura's only effected the Calamity but I'm seeing now that is not the case, switched over to Earth and the battle was over in maybe 5 mins!

Same here, tried maybe 10 times, always die suddenly, did not see it coming. It is mainquest, it cannot be that difficult, there must be something wrong.

Same here ...he si charging his poweful attack and other people in video guides have fallen stones to hide behind but I have nothing.. nowhere to hid and so..I die.

Hi, this attack is not the one with the stones to hide behind. This chargeup attack is the one where you have to attack him from behind until he "loses" his attack stance and his chargeup attack fails. The attack where you hide behind the stones is a different one, and will occur later in the fight (when the boss is around 50% health).

Some easy ways to distinguish between the attacks:

1. The above mechanic will happen around 70% HP, the one with the rocks to hide behind at around 50%

2. For the first mechanic, he will appear at the side of the boss room, with his back towards the exit of the cave. There will be a circular AoE around the boss, which you can avoid with PvE Iframes. For the second mechanic, the attack and boss teleport will happen towards the exact middle of the boss room (Though sometimes it bugs out and shows him somewhere else, which is an actual bug)

3. During the first mechanic, you see him charging up the attack for a while, while for the second mechanic, the rocks fall first, and the boss will continue attacking for a while. Then a message will appear "I shall kill all who walk on two feet" and he will first dissapear for a few seconds (giving you enough time to dash behind a rock) and immidiately after reappearing, he will use both of his oneshot attacks (Which you only survive with the DP buff from the rocks)
