It's a fairly trivial cost to most of us, but it's certainly not for new players. And considering new players can start there, it should be revised.
Perhaps keep the cost as it is, but provide a more wholistic experience at the Land of the Morning Light (e.g., Imperial Delivery, Liana, Dalishain, Lara, etc. etc. I believe are all missing?), so we (especially new player) don't feel the need to be traveling to and from the place so much.
Edit: Also, we need a baloon ride option there.

As for, ‘4 minuets of grind’ ; I can’t see how that is a counter argument to opening an exception on fast travel cost to LOML, given its unique location. And I know it’s not a 4 min grind for my low gear NA account (note, im not a new player on NA, but i am casual - yes i have spent a lot of cash dressing up :P) ;
- Its 5-10 mins prep, then go grind for 20-30 mins, then sell up are go to the magnus… but some people be elitist.
Sure for my EU account, 4 mins grind, 5 mins pre for that grind… years getting the gear for that grinding speed, but lets not count that, lets just hits down on people.. hmm anyhow :P (and LOML is New player friendly content, its not purly aimed at late to end game)
Seasonal character at any grind spot no buffs other than cron meal it takes 4 minutes at a 240m per hour spot to make 16m silver, Lets say that you somehow only manage to make 120m per hour which is hard to do at any beginner spot now a days, it'll take you 8 minutes. Lets say you are a total potato and cant figure out how to make more than 60m per hour it is 16 minutes at any grind spot. Helms and Ancient Iron Mine are 150m per hour minimum, i've pulled 500m at Ancient iron mines before. Only buff being loot scroll and cron meal.
Sorry but it's at most 15 minutes. Your daily pay covers that quickly, daily give away rewards covers it. The small monetary cost going to and from LoML is nothing.

Let’s say you have 1-2 hours play time, let’s say your account is low progress...
Daily log in aint all that. (and 17mill and I have 11.7k fame)
15 mins side grind ( and travel and prep) is a chunk....
and for what, emersion? emersion of how things cost money to travel further?
There is a rule all modern games kinda need to follow to retain newer players/casual. No matter what they do in your game, they need to see progress for their hour (Ehancing/ NW all that jazz aside, talking base tasks)
So, 15 mins grind (10 mins prep and travel to grind and back ) that 15 mins - My donkey be slow !
Then to the magus! Ahoy… 5 mins (20 mis)
Then prepare and travel that side (10 mins lets be kind, maynly hunting or boss rush)
20 mins hunt/ or rush (all they have left now) and of to travel back and sell up (10 mins)..
Okay, lets give that caual player back them 15 mins wasted on grinding out travel cost cus it add nothing to the experience. and LoML is so seporate and diffrent to the mainland.
Or shall we tell them is an MMORPG and they picked the wrong game.. well that’s upto PA
See, both side can be argued.
Adjusted to your grind time, and not going to ignore travel and i still not convinced :)
