well am guru 30 in fishing try page 1 and 2 in book 8 never got what was needed fish for over 3 hour manualy fishing had to stop because inventory was full it was sain did not matter what fishing poll was used did say you need to have anything special so is this another one of there bad quest that my levle is to high.

really just want to get all the stuff done here then not come back not really liking the place at all. When they make it that you need a flying toon or horse to get knowledge i know that will stop people. Also fish right were the 2 video show were to fish to get it done

Yep, you have to be standing in the exact spot facing the exact direction to fish that stuff up.  When you do, you get it first try.  So if you get something else, it means you're not in the exact right spot. That shouldn't be so unforgiving, to the point that a third party guide is pretty much required.

As for that one spot in Dokkebi Forest that needs flying or double jump to get to, that one does seem to have gone a bit too far.  Might be possible to reach it via the western route without that, but it had already taken long enough just to find that approach so I didn't feel like trying something riskier, failing, and having to go back to try again.

well from the video i sure look like i standing in the same spot and notheing i will try again tomorrow

I think the latest patch notes said that they moved one of the spots that was bugged (the one you had to go to Valencia 3 and fish from a boat for, before the patch).  I don't know if the guides were immediately updated, so maybe that's it - ?

ok i was able to get book 8 done but the area you have to stand in is very small and need to make sure your tossing you line in in the right direction and if you do not get what needed on first cast you do not have something right
