Hey i think some of your Ideas are great. Howerver there are certain things that would be cooler in my mind.

For example how about adding a DP buff to the 100% BSR similar to the one Guardian gives during her AoE selfheal. That way there would be a ult in the game that could ''counter'' other 1 shot ults like Valk,Zerker and stuff. I know its not really a solution for capped PvP.

Also SA on Overflow seems a little overtuned. I know most new classes tend to have protected CCs but thats not a good trend. Maybe just increase the range or the dmg.

Absolut:Whirlpool could also be looked at. Either it could be given forward guard or something since its kinda weak atm.

The Grab Resistance passive can also basically be deleted. The most relevant grab classes have the Ignore passive anyway which makes it a nice ''extra'' for your skills but it is useless against most of those classes.

     Great post, hopfully we see something before the next season of AoS comes out. I havn't done that much pvp myself so I haven't made a topic about this before, but I still think about ways to improve her inspite of that and had a few alternative ideas I figured I should share.

Mereca (Mermaid) skill survivablity:

     I feel PA needs to look at her survivablity when using her Mareca skills the most as not only is it the thing about her I hear the most complaints about. It also is some of the most defining, if not the most defining, moves in her kit. Not being able to really use them in large scale pvp has probably done more damage for the class then anything else. Instead of buffing the amount she healed on hit though I was thinking of instead giving her a regenrating health effect while in mermaid from kinda like was Succ Zerker has but not as strong (though probably not during Jet Stream or Sea of Dreams due to the long i-frame time), and some small dr percent increase as well. This would give them two variables they can play with to try to find the right numbers and could make the percent dr higher on start-up, since I doubt they will ever give her i-frames there again.

Combo Improvment Idea:

     I agree they should do something to help her cc game as well. Strom Surge getting it's float back would probably be the easiest solution, but there are some nice things about it not inflicting cc anymore. For example, if a team mate cces someone I can use Storm Surge to jump in without having to worry about ruining thier combo. It also is another cc that is only used for starting a combo like her other two protected cces right now, so she still couldn't safely keep a combo going in a group fight. Instead I was thinking about giving After the Storm SA instead. Right now After the Storm doesn't really do much, it's unprotected and doesn't cc until last hit unlike Wave Lash so it can really only be used as a mid combo cc in duels and even then Wave Lash is still a better KD option almost every time. Giving it SA would hopfully not be too much thanks to it not ccing until last hit and being close range.

Ocean's Allure:

     This next one might seem a bit random but what about removing the float from Ocean's Allure but making it full protected, FG>SA while moveing>FG and increasing it's damage? The reason I bring it up is I've gotten some new appreciation for it recently once I noticed how many skills can be cancelled out of the movment portion of the move. Before it felt kinda redundant as it was another unportected float with evasion shread just like Wave Pout. With the mix-up potential and burst movment though I'm liking it more, however that means I'm not really using it for the cc but these other parts and a lot of the moves you can cancel into don't work well with the float anyway. I could just be letting my inexperience show though. If the float on Ocean's Allure is important the just ignore this paragraph.

CC resist gimick:

     Lastly, and sorry for how long this post is, there is the resist aspect of her kit that should be looked at. Resistance isn't very useful thanks to how much ignore resist people can have (not a complaint as it's probably better for resist to be low just pointing out that it's weak) and thanks to how her Mareca ablities are designed they are very vulnerable to grabs especially ranged ones. They tried to discourage this with the resistance but I don't think really helps. So I think they should either scrape the resistance gimick and give her better options to deal with grabs or my other idea was to make it function like monster resist where it is a seprate check. For example, when an opponent is trying to grab you with the buff up they would now check your normal resist to grapple and then have another 50-50 check to see if it goes thru.

     I think this could help make it do what it was suppose to do, as at worst it's a 50-50 if the opponent has enough ignore resist to completly negate your normal resist, while not giving full immunity. This would open up the option to build grapple resist if you wanted better odds on Mareca skills or investing elsewhere like we do now, and I tend to like changes that open up more possiblities like this. It also helps our her self buff as well since it would be treated the same way. Now it would actually improve her Mareca skills since they opponent would have to pass two 50-50s at worst (so 25% chance to be grabed) with the buff up. Maybe people think that could be over-powered but it's only 30sec every 3min so I doubt it would be, and 25% chance is still not that low. Honstly, if they did do this I would like to see the grapple resist, and just the grapple resist from Mareca skills not the self buff, be slightly higher though, maybe 55% or 60%, though 60 does seem a bit too high, that way it is in Corsair's favor no matter what, but I think most people wouldn't like that.

     This might seem strange but the goal of this is try to and make it closer to how it was when she first launched. Some time after her release they changed how resistance interacted with ignore resist, and this change negativly effected Corsair. I don't want to get too much into the details right now but the changes made ignore resist stronger so her resist buffs became effectivly weaker as a result. This is still a bit stronger then it was at base, for her self buff in particular this is an improvment from base, but that has also always been bad and like I mentioned before the self-buff is only 30sec every 3 min.

Conclusion:

     Again sorry for how long this post is. I've had this stuff in the back of my mind for a while so nice to get it out there. I've probably just showed off how much of a newb I am though but maybe there is actually a good idea or two in here maybe. GL and HF out there everyone.

Completely agree with everything in the thread; i feel like her pve has been adjusted to an acceptable state; i think Black Shrine is still a bit rough for some bosses with Succ Corsair; but the proposed pvp changes are all nice and welcome additions. 

Id even go so far as to ask for Jet Stream to be reduced to a 15s cd and Sea stroll to a 12s - 15s cd as well.
