New Player Starting Area Confusion and How to Fix It

Suggestions/Comments:
When new/returning players start a new character, they are asked to pick a starting location. Land of the Morning Light is very story heavy and while that may appeal to some players, players who want to focus on a shorter story or experience the combat sooner may regret picking it. This can lead to confusion where new/returning players try to figure out how to get back to Balenos by the NPC ferry so they can get the starting experience they really wanted. Some may even delete their characters and start over.
Some ways to possibly fix this:
1. Make a special Well/Magnus teleport that only new/returning players can access. This would be available to them unlocked from the start and only be useable for 30 days (as long as they have access to novice/Olvia servers, like an additional new/returning player reward). This would need to be clearly marked, maybe give the black spirit a quest if the new/returning player was trying to figure out how to change starting locations etc. and also make it free. This would only be between LoML and Balenos. No other locations.
2. Give a warning at path selection before the new character loads in that Land of Morning Light is very story heavy. Put similar warnings on Balenos and Mountain of Eternal Winter starting options so that players can tell what each starting questline offers and make a more informed choice on which starting area to pick.
3. Provide a crossroads option not far into each starting questline that will allow a player to swap to a different starting region and start a different new player questline. For example, if a player started LoML, around level 20 they would get a crossroads option to swap to Balenos if they wanted. Upon selecting this option, the player would be teleported to Balenos and could then start there. I'm unsure of how this would affect naru gear, the season pass rewards, and quest rewards. This could also end with accidents where in players who don't want to change to a different start ended up accidentally doing so.
4. This option I doubt would appeal to most or happen, but I thought I'd add it in here: Keep the LoML starting area option locked until a new player has reached level 30 or level 50 on another character. This would ensure new players don't get funneled into LoML and be completely lost, while also allowing veterans/returning players to experience LoML as a starting region. There is really no content past the story there for starting players. They can do some of the bosses, yes, but the rewards from the bosses don't cater to fresh new progressing players.

I have tried to get my friends to play the game. We like to play together and I see the only way to get my friends to stick to the game is if we were able to grind together in every stage in progression.

However there is no low end group grindspot. They nerfed Basi and Castle Ruins to irrelevance.

I feel guilty that I get them to play the game and I have to tell them "good luck playing 200 hours until we can grind together in abandoned monastery"

This thread is not about new player group content. It's about players getting stuck in Land of Morning Light, being forced to do a long quest chain with no pre-warning and having no immediate access to get back to Balenos.

I'm seeing a lot more posts on Reddit about new players getting stuck in Land of Morning Light because they didn't know what they were picking. This needs a fast fix, so I'm going to link to all the reddit threads I've been seeing on this issue just to show how much an issue this is for new players:

https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonline/comments/14pseln/how_do_i_leave_land_of_of_the_morning_light_and/

I'm certain there are lot more new players who picked Land of Morning Light and regretted it. I think there needs to be an easier way for players to go back to Balenos or pick a different starting area without making them delete characters and risk them accidentally deleting important items they can't get back.

I don't feel a lot of pity for people who simply do not read, and then complain that they didn't know what they didn't know, because they chose to not read.

At the selection screen, the game explicitly tells you that the Balenos option is highly recommended for new players, while the other two are only recommended for veteran players. I should think new and veteran are common enough words to understand their meaning.

I think the easiest solution is to just simply remove the choice from them, and only allow you to choose winter or morning if you meet whatever the cutoff point in account levels is for season 1.

LoML, shouldn't be a starting position for new players.  It offers a completely different experience than the rest of the game and will cause great confusion/disappointment.  I'm wondering... if I was a new player, if I would still be playing right now......

Just say them to start from start. Top from Main Quest line to bottom in cronological order.

Saying new players to play LoML from start is like saying them to watch Avengers: End Game when they haven't even watched Avengers ever before.
