It was supposed to be short but I somehow kept adding stuff.. A not so short story in the form of a journal. Hope you like it! There are no Land of the Morning Light story spoilers so you can read safely.

Visit to the Land of the Morning Light

Departure

During the manifestation by the organization called "PortRattRemembers", someone gave me a map to reach the Land of the Morning Light. Fwuzzy was twice as excited as I was at the idea of going there. That or it was the carrot the other guy was holding and passing under Fwuzzy's nose. They can keep their Port Ratt memories! We are about to set sail on the vast ocean.

~ Day 1

5:00am

We are still on the ocean... It's farther than I expected. I hope we get there soon because Fwuzzy is getting restless.

11:00am
We found a small island. The place looks very pretty. I'm sure they can give us some direction.

11:10am
Well, we are barely off the ship and Fwuzzy is already making new friends.

11:25am
This place looks like a palace... I'm not sure Alpaca are allowed inside. I'll leave Fwuzzy with his new friends.

12:30pm
The people here are so nice. And, it's not a palace. It is actually the Byukgye institute. They speak a laguage I do not know and I think we manage to exchange information but I think I just applied to become student or something. They are offering me a full outfit made by the locals. ohhh!! enough writing, I go put it on!

1:00pm
I have been sent to practice my reading of this strange language with the scholar Yoosung. It's strange however, these people have a funny way to sit on the ground. I don't know how they do it. It's like they cross their legs... I didn't know they could bend that way. It's a bit unsettling. I may try to learn that sitting technique in the future.

4:15pm
It's the end of the afternoon already. I have been told that "those who manage to keep their head above the fog will see their destination clearly". I found that funny since we Shai are usually wayyyy below the fog. But I think it simply means I have to go up.

4:30pm
That place is quite big. It must have taken a lot of effort to build all of this on the mountain side.

5:00pm
I am speechless. The view is breathtaking. I can see the Land of the Morning Light from here. This lighthouse over there must be part of Nampoo Harbour. We were almost at our destination. Though, I'm quite glad we stopped here. I think I'll stay here and enjoy the view for a while.

8:30pm
It's getting late but I saw some people here playing music here and there. I thought I could thank my new friends by playing some music of my own.

~ Day 2

8:00am
Nampoo Harbour is in sight! We'll touch land any moment now.

8:15am
We made it! It looks better than I ever dreamed of. There are a lot of little shop to visit and most people seem happy.

10:45am
Whoaa! They even have outdoor massaging services. They seem to go at it a bit too strong to my taste. But people here must very like it, all the spot are taken. Those mens don't look very rich though. Maybe it is some kind of reward for the best workers! So they can relax after a hard working day.

11:00pm
I've been having so much fun in Nampoo! I think I repeat myself but these people are amazing. I don't know if they do that everyday or if today is special, but they litterally made a big party and their music is good. Gives me some idea for when we'll get back home. But for now, let's dance!

~ Day 3

7:00am

What a night! Can't say I slept enough. We are visiting a friend who lives in these lands later today. But for now, we are starting easy this morning. Fwuzzy wants to see the bamboo forest. I saw some small bambbo myself but it is the first time I see such a forest. Almost looks magical!

9:25am
The world sure is small like a Shai. I found my good friend Nekona in the forest! They are trying to talk to a strange little fellow who apparently can gives "emotes". Some kind of moving images that you can use instead of words to communicate. That sounds like witchcraft. I'll go help Nekona with all the band. I am very curious to see what those magical "emotes" can do.

1:00pm
I found some strange looking statue in the countryside. They are quite funny looking. Oh and I received words from Nekona since we didn't get the emotes. Apparently, we we're talking to the right bamboo-person. Kind of feel bad for all the pressure we've put on the little guy.

3:15pm
Look at this! someone sculpted a gigantic wood statue of a fox. Strangely, this one has many tails. I wonder if it is a mistake or an artistic choice. According to some notes I took back at the institute, it would be a local mystical being. The notes aren't clear as I don't fully understand what they say... Maybe I should investigate this being further later on.

5:50pm
The landscape here is beautiful. I want to live here.

6:10pm
The sun is starting to get low behind the mountain. We may want to move and get on the other side before it is dark or we will be stuck here for the night.

7:20pm
We made it to the other side. The trees are nice on the way to Dalbeol Village. I wish I had the time to stop and look around. I see beautiful flowers back there. Maybe I can come back here tomorrow.

7:50pm
We made it. The house of Rory the Mage. Looks alot like a palace to me. They never said they were rich!

~ Day 4

5:00am
4th day and yet so much more to explore. I have so many questions about this land. So many mysteries I could only glimpse at in the countryside. There is more here than it seems. I think there are secrets waiting to be discovered. What will today bring? I don't know. But for now, what I can say in this early morning is that this is truly the Land of the Morning Light.
