this is not showing people wanting pve server

this is showing amount of new players

Chanel 1 new olvia is only new players, same thing with Seasonal channel 1.  People then tend to go to the first server on the list that is available.  There was just a massive marketing campaign that caused a massive influx of brand new players who play either on Olvia or Seasonal.  There also is the fact that Seasonal has a massive XP boost on top of the current XP boost so anyone grinding for levels is going to want to go there.

correlation does not equal causationcorrelation does not equal causation.

To make a case, you would also need standard server types in the mix..there are no none pve server side from arsha, and you have to be nuts to go there in seasonal as it where the seasonal pvp sweats go, that have pen starter items boofs and all the gimmicks... i know cus I’m one of them.

when i have a video of me on a shai taking out 3 valks,  you know you don’t go to seasonal arsha unless you’re really ready, but if there where standard karam penalty seasonal severs (none arsah and none Pve), where you could DFS, i think there would be a nice mix...

so propaganda level not powerful this time.

Poor fellas, once they get out of those servers, they'll be shredded and almost all of them will quit the game.

A lot of the new arrivals are for sure also from Asmongold's video review about how much BDO has changed.

I can't speak for myself but, I find a "lot" of people tend to enjoy the no PvP servers and once they go to regular servers, they either hate getting farmed or killed for no reason while just going about from town to town, or they live long enough to start craving the PvP themselves (and end up getting hurt and either quitting or get emboldened to get stronger or reroll to meta class). But most will probably just quit once they're in regular servers, or quit after season (like what happens in most games, huge drop-off after finishing season in a game)

People don't get farmed going from town to town. They rarely get killed for no reason. The bulk of my pvp encounters in the last couple years were red ships, and some red players at bosses who go there to suicide or kill all the horses. Those days of getting ganked at the balenos bridges, at the level 50 spot, at the ruins or golems for awakening, they're all gone.

Today, most pvp happens in pvp specific encounters, node wars, gvg, and highly desirable rotations for valuable grind zones, where the majority of pvp is initiated by DFS, and not pk.

I found the more times i got killed the less i cared about it, really means nothing and it is rare, if you move away from the attacker, 99% of the time they dont try to follow channles and such... and i spend my first year as a life skiller only

That may be your experience, but I've been killed more often tending my farms or riding from one town to the next that I have at grind spots. Now, mind you, I grind less than the average player, but every once in a while you run into a player who just wants to randomly kill people who are minding their own business.

Think again.

Regardless if that was the case or not it will never happen. It was concluded from a very long time ago already.

As other posters already said: New players are coming to the game and it doesn't mean they want something specific.

WTF some people even talking about newbies getting killed or "shredded". In the actualy lvl 61 Tuvula AP zones in offseason server there practically never anything ever happens. In my whole time of playing BDO and remaing a faithful casual newb throughout I got killed like 4 times and one was AFK horse training. The other 2 was actualy fun PVP with some random attacker in pollys forest. Besides it´s as ded as can be. Even afk horsetrain PK appears to be out of fashion. Yawn.

And I don´t get what´s all that fuss about being dead in a GAME. Geez even when I saw my char ded that single morning and some scrolls thus wasted WHAT THE HELL WHY WOULD I CARE?? PS: Hoodlum, doesn´t deserve to carry that famous cracker´s group´s name, just saying to dat filthy pleb. :D

I concur: Silly private lvl post needs more downvotes.
