The person who is in charge of updating the awakening ninja is a hater
At the end of the day... the changes are not that bad.
It makes the ninja more prone to human errors while it makes it much harder for average players. That's fine, better than spamming MI+SA.
But the gameplay changed a lot, definitely, and players must adjust and get used to it. It's the most huge change from the class release, for sure.
The new Sura ChaoSpree skill is a nice skill, but less practical. With the animation lock, it mostly kills you if you don't use it wisely.
We still end up in the fact that Awak Ninja is one of the most difficult classes to play and master. I love that personally it still stays the same for that long time without touch and change (old fashion classes with less protection, high skill required).
The class is fast-paced, but also one of the least protected classes in the game which makes it highly destitute in some PvP scenarios against classes with high levels of CC protection. In that fact, SA on Shadow Stomp would be a dream.
Also, any acc modifiers could be handy coz our class is poor against high evasion targets (but it's a general balance issue).
The Ninja is no more the fastest class, no more the most agile class, no more the deadliest class. In this game, we are ninjas without the usual ninjas' superpowers and even the heaviest class can beat us in these scenarios. Facts! ... but it is still love. :-)
If ninja needs any changes, it's either distance on his mobility skills or actually having attack speed slowing debuffs at all.
I don't know other classes that don't have them, but I'm sure are others.
You can't chase half the cast, and the easiest classes in the game have more protected CC's attached to slows, and overall more damage.
