Suggestions/Comments:  I've been a semi-AFK player for 5 years and have always relied on my character's pain vocalisation (the "owws" when taking damage in a non-combat stance) to determine whether I should immediately switch my attention back to the screen or the game. A recent patch changed the player hit/pain vocalisations to appear around 50% of the times you get hit, which in a few instances failed to alert me enough even though I'm almost dead from monster attacks while semi-AFK questing and reading a book. (I turn other sounds off as I prefer a quiet environment for reading). Instead of changing character vocalisations (which are more immersive), I recommend that less immersive alert sound effects, such as the loud "metal scraping" sound and heartbeat when your HP drops to a "near death" state, be toggleable.
Could we be given the option to turn off the sound effects and red/blur camera effects when your HP falls to a critical level? The initial "metal scraping" sound effect is quite loud and intrusive, especially if it happens all of a sudden. And may I please kindly request that all pain vocalisations for the player character be returned to being always triggered upon taking hit/damage? (instead of around 50% after a recent patch)
Many thanks!

I also want to add that the "your horse is being attacked" alert sound is also very immersion-breaking. I'm unsure if there is a way to turn it off, but the "biiing" sound effect accompanying the alert is quite annoying. Please give us the option to turn it off (or perhaps replace the alert sound effect with something more subtle/natural, say, an actual horse noise...?).
