I have an idea for a next level of SOL its not the best idea but i would just like to see something more than Pen Artina and done.
I was thinking that maybe a system much like Pen boss+ caphras 10 or Pen blackstar conversion, or god forbid a heavy duty questline to evolve Pen Artina SOL into a new SOL.
This SOL would not be upgradable in any way, but it would feature the ability to use a new lvl 62 [or lvl 63] skill.
This skill would give AP vs Monsters and last 1 hour with a 1 hour cooldown.
I took inspiration from horse gears 1 hour 5 AP buff and figured this could make up for shais lack of AP vs monsters on "awakening weapon" especially with how much main weapon AP and Talent can differ at the late stage of the game.
It would not have to be allot of AP vs monsters anything from 5 to 15 would be sufficient and the 1 hour cooldown and duration is to prevent mass spamming.
I believe this would also be a great addition to the social side of BDO where much like old mmorpgs we could see friendly Shai players in town offer people a party for the 1 hour buff and thanks to the fact that money cannot be traded we dont have to worry about people selling them for monetary gain and the amount/duration of buff is to low to warrent RMT dangers.
Ofcourse the duration and cooldown dont have to be an hour but i do feel like less would both promote spamming for guildmates or friends and not bothering to give to strangers and anything longer might make people hesitant to share as they might have atleast a friend they would hold it for or something ?
Ofcourse as for the amount of 5 up to 15 AP vs monsters this is very open for debate but i personally feel like it would not boost Shai to unbalanced levels and it would always help pretty much any level of player equally, seeing you kill fast at low level with or without it and at high level anything helps and you still need raw AP high enough to handle a spot.
Im just throwing this out there because i love shai and today i made my first suggestion ever since the release of BDO in the EU and i would love to see a change come for Shai's Talent item.
Ofcourse im very pleased having a PEN Artine SOL and not having to worry about it ever again but i really would love to be ever more usefull to others, and ofcourse i am very jelous of peoples Awakening weapons with AP vs monsters ;)
