What? A melee class thats overtuned an your comparing it  to now the grabless range version. If you think strikers bad this will be the same thing... Why is PA going backwards on balancing even more than ever this is worse than their last revamp of protections where they removed half of them before that was no where near this bad

Its telegraphed, there are gaps between every hop, it is doing zero damage while doing that, still slower than any other class, can only be done going backwards, once you finally stop hopping you don't have any other skill, in fact you don't ahve any other skill.  This is like poor man's sorc I-frame with no backups once you have to stop.

Ranger was already really strong, these buffs cannot go through.

Compared to every other class ranger is weak.  Ranger is about 5th from the bottom when it comes to PvP, the problem is you are running into Ranger players that have years of experience because no one in their right mind would pick up Ranger today.  The only reason you think ranger is "really strong" is because you lack the skills to PvP effectively.

I feel like this is an inadequate comparison, Striker generally in large scale is pretty bad because he can get focused down extremely easily. Ranger probably being one of those focusing him down, funnily enough. Succession Ranger is already mobile enough and does a great plenty of damage for me to think it definitely does not need buffs. Some quality of life, sure, but not damage buffs. Also definitely doesn't need more Iframes, but whatever. The developers seem to blindly throw a dart at a board and buff it. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they do. Shame they keep missing awakening witch.

Also, this is just straight up incorrect. Awakening Ranger is one of the best duelists and small scale fighters in the game, and Succession ranger is a very mobile glass cannon that very frequently top frags in large scale PVP. She is FAR from the bottom on EITHER spec in the respective content. Am I going to argue that Awakening Ranger is good in large scale or Succession is good in small scale? No, because that's not where their strengths are. I'm ALSO not going to say they're bad generally, because... they aren't.
