Here is the catch tho, they didn't work on those maps at all they just used existing open world areas that are not at all fit for AoS gameplay, tragedy.
So it's laziness. That's even more tragic.......
And it's been their MO for the past couple years.....
No wonder the game is losing it's focus and identity..........
The great thing about these maps is they highlight some of their terrible game mechanics. Bad cameras that obstructions force you to zoom into the floor and trees and building that do not go invisible when they are above/behind you. Random obstacles and rocks that your character gets stuck on.
100% agree. Some of the maps have heigh issues too, I'll use a movement ability down the stairs and then get stuck into a falling animation and get cc'd because of it. This design is absolute trash. Constant face fulls of either buildings or trees or getting stuck on rocks and all kinds of other absolute nonsense.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY likes dying to terrain issues.
If you guys didn't notice bamboo map aka Shimnidae Forest got removed for optimization HURRAAH!
