Yeah, I'm not receiving the "Simplified quest" option from Alustin what so ever.

I have all the pre-requisites listed here: https://grumpygreen.cricket/simplified-main-quest

I swear I have them all, even more than I needed to do.

0.-Created a Drakania. Started on Balenos, all the way until beating Red nose and arriving to Velia

1.-Leveled up a Maegu to 61 in the season

2.-Timepieced onto my Drakania.

3.-Started Balenos questline up until Alustin, who never gave me the options (Regular or Simplified storylines)

4.- So I continued, and read that I could have a 2nd chance to select it, before finishing the last Balenos quest 

5.- Have not done that last quest and I'm Not getting the option neither

6.- Black spirit neither gives it to me. Yes I'm in a Season server with my seasonal Drakania.

According to internet I have done everything in the right way

Am I F*********ed ???

- Have you done the main quest on a different char, including the Mediah questline?

- The popup will not come, if you accept the quest form Alustin, where you have to talk to Eileen.

- You also only get the simplified questline, when you are on a season server!

- The 2nd chance is, when you arrive at the "heidel pass" (balenos compelted and quest send you there. Quest name "Gateway to Heidel") (don't spam R when you get there!)

And yes! I did all the main quesline until Valencia I with my previously seasonal Maegu.

For some reason the 1st popup never came through >_<

For the 2nd chance, I'm so afraid to get passed the "Embarking on a new adventure" quest which is the last Balenos quest.

Which should theoretically take me to the "heidel pass" quest. But I've been reading that the moment you finish that last balenos quest

you're basically screwed and you have no longer access to the simplified quest.

I guess i'll have to take the risk tho, anyways I can't do anything else to get it...

BUt before wanted some advice on this, or confirmation that I won't get screwed up :(

I did get the 2nd Chance to chosse simplified after getting to the gate guard and finishing balenos

OMFG I was so scared.

Still real weird why didn't I get the 1st popup.

Hopefully this information will help any new player or returning like me.

For anyone similarly confused, I can add this bit too:

When I went with Balenos questline up to Velia, I talked to Hans as always and then zoomed right into that backyard where Alustin is, and he did not show me the "simplified or not" window as I would have expected.

Turned out, I had to enter Velia properly via the street (coming from Hans) to trigger the cut scene and AFTER that, Alustin worked as he should. I remember that before the latest change, the cut scene would trigger the moment you talk to the guy but now it seemingly doesn't.

Just in case someone has a similar experience^^
