I reported this a while ago and it still persists. 

Currently if any other option in the escape menu shows up in the recent selections panel it can be right clicked and pinned where it will snap to the bottom of the current pins with the appropriate number and stay there as a pin itself.

However with Find My Item it snaps to the last position but does not become pinned and if another option is selected to be pinned it goes above Find My Item and pushes it down.  This also happens if a new menu option not in the recents panel is selected placing that new button on the recents. 

Another patch and repaired files and this problem persists.

Hi there, I am able to pin it to the menu and havent had these kinds of issues before. Did you send a ticket to support yet? Maybe they are able to check if there is something preventing you from pinning it to the menu?
