I would love the idea to collect dyes through pearl shop and market, however with it being one time use it's really not worth it. I understand you want to make money with the pallette, but maybe just attach that to VP or keep it as well, but then have ability of dyes purchased to remain permanent, like GW style system.

Honestly, if different dyes were unlockable in game, it would add a lot of stuff to do.

Like in GW2, they can be drops or quest rewards. In ESO they are linked to titles, and lots of people go after hard titles to unlock the dyes.

It would be fun to add something like this here. And/or add them to alchemy.

GW2 had the best dye unlockable IMO. But Merv is by far better for the sake of cherry picking. I miss unlocking things, we need more of that here :)

One suggestion that died due to people not caring would be a weekly quest in each region to get 1 of the regions dye packs. It would keep supply limited and would encourage collection and also the dye rerolling while still retaining the convenience of Value pack dyeing.
