Coming from Age of Conan's PvP i say that BDO desperately needs some changes:

- CC Immunity effect for 10secs after a single CC

- Slows and debuffs should be unique and limited on certain Classe's Skills. They must be Removed from Skill Addons.

- Dashes Charge abilities should be more punishable on Resources used. WP/MP etc.

- I-Framing should stop making you invulnerable but either tank or avoid damage through DR or Evasion. No invincibilities anymore.

- Damage Reduction and Evasion should stop being Class dependant or applied passively but only add up from Defensive Gear/ Crystals/ Lightstones/ Artifacts.

- DR and Evasion should rather applyon ''Action'' and make the action benefit from them such as a Sidestep = Benefits from Evasion, a Block = Benefits from DR.

- CC Resistances should be Class dependant only and with a Fixed Value and CCs not apply for more than 5 seconds which are enough to instantly kill anyway.

- All classes must have sidestep/ backstep options that consume Breath and/ or Stamina and/ or Mana.

- AoE abilities shouldn't be primarily AoE abilities but close range up to x meters and x amount of targets whilst the farther the effect extends the less effective it should be.

- No class should have 360 degree Protection only forward Guard Q Block/ S Block.

- No Skill Addon should apply Speed/ Cast/ Movement buffs and even gear related ones should have a Cap so there's a limit to it.

- No class should be able to fly/  levitate/ dash 20 meters in 1 second and if it does it should be vulnerable consume alot for it while others able to stop it.

- V Escape is a bandaid solution that combats the symptoms of Group CC Chains and acts and feels like a Cheat. It should be removed.

From now on i protest by refusing to use it. I used it while leveling first character once in a while forgot it exists. Never imagined its a constant spam in AoS.

Per recommendations i tried it. It still feels like a cheating bandaid to something that needs a redesign. I dont like to use it so no more.

BDO PvP suffers from a ''Rock Paper Scissors'' design which is entirely different from a ''Tactical Action Combat'' design.

We enjoy it as it is and for what it is and play along but it will never excell or feel satisfying without realistic tweaks.

Game tries to excell in feeling and looking Flashy and Fantastic but it should be more then a PvE Showcase.

That's my friend called stun lock, in case of BDO its knockdown lock ( because being called stunlocker for Korean game  worse than p2w), its when player have zero skill and all it do is keeping opponents in permanent control state so they can't fight back, someone actually believe its a skilled gameplay.
