The #1 complaint for Sorcerers is their ability to keep up with the raid during node wars. It's so bad that our "pros" recommend making sure you keep your horse with you and just ride the horse until it's time to engage.

I propose one way to fix this is to lower the stamina cost and increase the distance traveled of the skill Night Crow > Storming Crow (and Awakening's Flow: Night Crow's distance traveled) to similar levels of Maegu's skill Spirit Step > Chain: Spirit Step. I feel this quality of life change will not upset the balance of the game, and the Sorcerer will still only be in B/A tier for PVE and B/A tier for PVP for all gear score levels except 700GS+ where everyone one-combos everyone and then her shortcomings are less relevant. The problem with 700GS+ is this is only applicable to 1% of the playerbase. This also obviously only applies to 98% of the content; content like the Arena of Solare or Gyfin Underground, which forces you to stay in a local area, her ability to move within this limited area is less problematic.

Personally, I dislike Flow: Night Crow's mechanic of making you stop for a full second after each i-frame as it makes it impossible to use it to travel, forcing you to switch to non-awakening, and is only useful in combat, but some of the "pros" in the Sorcerer Discord threw a fit when I suggested changing this skill and even kicked me from the class discord over this after I pointed out that a "class interview" video they gave supported my points lol. I would love to see the Awakening skill Flow: Night Crow  lockable and able to be slotted to a hotbar spot.

TLDR: There are several classes that do everything the Sorcerer does, but better, so increasing her distance traveled/decreasing stamina used on her skill Night Crow and it's related skills, to help her ability to travel from pack to pack and keep up with the raid will not upset the spot she currently occupies compared to other classes and will be a valued QoL improvement to the class.

Your suggestion is more than a mere "Quality of Life" improvement to the class, it's a direct improvement to its movement capabilities. A skill's resource cost is typically determined by how far the player can travel and the type of protection(s) that are applied. 

It would have made more sense for you to suggest an increased travel distance for Night Crow while incurring a higher resource (stamina) cost and/or being less protected (e.g Invincible to Invincible → Super Armor).

I thought about that; however, the resource usage of the Sorc's skill is extremely high when compared to all other classes' stamina-based movement skills.

I gave the comparison of the Maegu for this exact reason: both move forward, both are protected, and both use stamina. The Maegu's uses about 1/6 the amount of stamina that the Sorc skill uses and travels about 1/3 farther per use. Similar experiences can be seen with other classes like the Hash, Sage, Musa, Mae, Zerk, etc. That is why I felt it was justified to have both a small distance increase and a moderate stamina reduction applied to the skill. Doing only one of the two would still have her movement crippled when compared to all other classes in my opinion.

I feel applying both will bring her in line with other classes and help mitigate this problem while not bringing her above any class. That is why I considered it a quality-of-life improvement. She will still be sub-optimal for PVE content and sub-optimal for PVP content. But this change would make that far less noticable sub 700GS and see very little change to those 700GS+ in PVP. (In PVE they will see similar benefits for grind speed to those sub 700GS)

im sorry but sorc is cancer as it is, giving it more movement on top of existing kit would make it insufferable. sorry, personal opinion. legit some classes only option vs sorc is to go away.

Ah, you sweet summer child... First time on the forums? One does not simply talk about sorc changes on this forum.

Too many players have so much PTSD from the class that they think Awa is (still) S-Tier in pvp and Succ is A+ Tier. They don't understand that with the changing times the class has fallen off so significantly that more and more players are quitting the class, along with the fact that you can get the same effect (both in protections/iframes, as well as in damage) with 1/4th of the effort.

Here's my sorc recommendation to you - swap. Swap to Drakania. Swap to succ zerk. Swap to succ sage. Swap to succ sage. Swap to Awa Nova. Swap to Succ Maegu. Swap to an infinite iframe ranger. Swap to a caster. Swap to DK. Swap to succ sage :D. Some of these classes even got kits straight ripped from Sorc Discord/Suggestion threads, so what's the point of playing a dead class when you can get 4x more effect with the same effort with any of these classes?

Bonus, you'll be so good with these classes (if you were a decent sorc) that you will make people finally start whining about how OP some of these classes are. Double Bonus, you'll no longer need (ANY) accuracy accessories with most of these classes, which means you should have 200-400b of accessories for selling so that you can AP monkey even more with a class that has 20-50% accuracy on _ every _ single _ skill. And a triple to end it with a bingo - most of these classes have lingering protections on their iframes which means desync cc-s will become a thing of the past.

I've been tempted to switch a few times, but I own so many outfits that I paid with actual cash for Sorc I just lose my desire to play when I think of switching to a new character and having very little in outfit choices. It is such a slap in the face the number of classes that just outclass the Sorc until post 700GS and then still outclass the Sorc in any environment that requires movement.

Literally had all of the available costumes until a while ago (when I melted everything I hadn't worn for years to fail several pen debo attempts). You'll get over them and get new ones eventually for the new class - btw, I'm a f2p player (apart from the tent) so every single costume has been from the MP (or some events) and it hurt a lot swapping off but...

One big big huge BIG D*c* thing that you will get with the classes that I listed is 20-50% more accuracy and you'll start slapping the eva monkeys like there is no tomorrow. And let's not talk about drakania....

OH WAIT... NO... SRY... This is the right article. Those classes can ball and have the ability to chase/run from everyone after all... Who doesn't love Zerks/Casters/Draks/Sages coming to your Forum article and crying wolf that some other class than their own is OP?

Ahh, you're right. So you want to deal high amounts of damage, get shards for infinite protected iframes and superarmor rotations for literally breathing, then also again, chase people down.

This right here tells me you have no idea about the Sorc class and are only going off of what you think she can do. Infinite iframes and superarmor rotations lol. I wish we had this, then I could understand not having as much dmg as Zerks/Casters/Draks/Sages/Maegus, not being able to survive hits like them, and not having the movement abilities to cover large distances like them.

It's up to the Dev's though to realize people downvoting this are forum warriors who want to keep every class that isn't theirs gimped if they can help it.
