you don't need to whale to be 700gs although it surely helps.
Choice grinding 8 hours daily for 55 days is no different than you grinding 2 hours a day for 220 days. People have had years to get 700gs, but years are not required.
A streamer grinding a lot is also no different than a non-streamer-grinder grinding a lot; a streamer is just a person who plays in front of a crowd and if you think they are unique in how much they play you have no idea just how many no-lifers are actually in this game right up there with them. There are discords full of people doing their 1m trash challenges at spots, getting their treasure items, grinding 200 hours of Orcs while watching reruns of The West Wing, etc.
And Oberion, your GS is a product of so many factors beyond what I could know (we are strangers). Maybe it could be higher or lower depending on your choices or playtime I really cannot say. But your experience is your own and doesn't prove/disprove much in the wider discussion of what it takes for players to hit 700gs in 2023.

OK so in ur 70 iq logic someone must spend few yars grinding to hit 700 GS, they can also spent 10-20k usd and have it straight
ps. im almost 66 lvl my GS is 640.

But back to the topic, there is no reason for those spots to have elvia channels, because to grind oluns you need whole channel for yourself anyway.
Ash forest on the other hand i so dog**** at the moment that ppl will stop grinding it in few days if they don't nerf the mobs or buff the loot cuz its too much effort for little reward.

You and the other guy seem to be implying that it takes whaling to hit 700 GS at all period. This game has been out for 7 years. Ain't no way you think everyone at/above 700 GS in 2023 is whaling to do it. That's ridiculous. Sure, it might take you 300-400 hours of grinding to hit which isn't easy, but there's no argument to say that all of the people with just-above-midgame gear are whaling in BDO.

I merely said that bringing up streamers is a bad argument, cuz its their job to play the game lol.
You should have said something along the lines of some1 else down there who compared (if you wanna bring up streamers at all) choice's hours to 2h daily.
Its almost a good argument, if you discount that no sane casual gonna play 220 days straight 2h each ( 2h just the grinding all the other stuff has to be done too btw).
Maybe i was too open with my Whale part, but what i mean, "slackers" are lazy, lazy ppl never get anywhere in this game.
Thats why PA keeps miking them, cuz they just cant help themselves.
Thus lantern is not a patch for the whales, but for the veterans to keep them occupied CUZ 9/10 veterans are probably chronically vocal in the game socials, unlike all those whales and casuals who barely talk.
