What does everyone think about these 3 ideas to add to the Marni realm update?
1. Marni realm needs to have a lower item drop rate, especially since it is now going to be refreshed for multiple marni hours! Grinding in Marni= cronning your hour.
2. An entire set of servers (example-valencia 1-6) could be a PVP free zone, like season servers. Again, with a lesser item drop rate. Less risk, less reward! A place for newish adventurers to continue to learn their class. A place for players to enjoy PVE without worrying about needed to spawn in a safe zone and go somewhere else due to gearscore difference.
3. Extension to suggestion number 2, how about a complete set of arsha servers (1-6) OR all server 6s become Arsha-style, with 350% drop rate, to allow for more adventurers to play in a high risk, high reward environment. A place for people who enjoy pvp. A place for players to enjoy the break from the grind to pvp. A place for players who work so hard at enhancing their gear and want to really feel great about the gains in this game they are making.
I have noticed in Black Desert that almost every aspect of this game, from enhancing, to confessing to NPCs, to PVE monster grinding, to opening chance Shakatu boxes, is completely embroiled in the RNG/gambling aspect. That being said, I feel pretty great with having more opportunities for adventurers to participate in high risk combat should they choose, but still allow for players to have the choice to grind in a lower risk environment also.
Lowering drop rate for marni is a terrible idea. "Less risk, less reward" is bs. You are penalizing people for not wanting to engage in pvp. If they do that then they better up the drop rates on everything. Or make it like 5% less.

You sound like just the type of player who would greatly benefit from the segregated servers I mentioned before. Consider your QOL, where you can grind in peace fully protected on a server where there is no forced PVP.
Just like season servers, where you trade in wearing 'normal gear' for a protected place, why shouldn't you continue to have a protected, segregated place where your only sacrifice is 50% drop rate? Sounds like a huge win for all lifeskillers to me!

Haha lol, i couldnt care less about owpvp, if ppl can grind in peace maybe i can buy some debos already without wasting my time on a group spot or on trash silver spot

The new Marni realm changes are sooooooo gooooood for me that i won't have to watch over my shoulder every 5s because of you guys and i will also won't lose my buffs...1h of farming 1h of rest and then 1h of farming again

Also, this sounds like a BIG LOSS to every lifeskiller and boosting the EGO of all the PvP minded players.
what you just said it's like this idea of mine "The player who PK or feed the other player to the mobs loses his crystals and that sounds like a huge win for all PvE minded players" this sounds just as good as your 50% less drop rate on segregated servers. . . . .. . .. . ........

I'd myself said multiple times already that with no risk, no reward. It's only logical in a mmorpg, you can't expect to deserve as much as the one working hard for it! It's like safe lifeskills in safe zones: they don't reward you the same as grinding or even as lifeskilling in the open. I often fish outside of the coasts, it's rewarding! You go to Velia or Heidel, you have nothing. (except during event)
