I would like to think he was being facetious, but that's the problem here that gets players all wound up.
On one side you have players that intentionally bully others using flagging and decs to remove others from populargrind spots.
Then you have others like Columba that would just walk into an area and start grinding regardless if someone was there (No one person owns a grind spot) and stay even after being flagged and Dec on. Columba will be the 1st to argue that there is no such thing as a Karma bomber. Becouse they have been a Karma Bomber since the day they been playing BDO.
Then claim they were innocent and never flagged one time BUT sure everyone else flagged on them.
I am completely on the fence the one thing I can agree on is that PA needs to make DRASTIC changes to retain the player base.
But then you have PA do this..
A BLATANT attempt to cash in on the player base... this is ABSOLUTE BS in my opinion and is only going to make things harder on everyone let alone how do you trust that things are finally looking up for BDO then this!!!!
The Cron stone issue with costumes is going to make BDO harder for new players and easier for older players. Because the ratio between MP price of costumes and the amount of Crons you get out of it increases, this will require items to need more resources to enhance. Items like V Blackstar, TRI and above Slumering God, Disto's, Turo's, etc. will require more resources (silver) to enhance, which will raise the market price of these items, making it harder for new players to attain them. It makes it easier for older players because, now, these items will be worth a higher value. I got really attached to my PEN BS offhand. But if the price increases enough, I'm 100% selling it, getting a huge profit, and Caphras'ing my Kutum.

I'm going to see how this will all pan out too and hope the game doesn't become an instanced single player hub-based game, that it still can retain it's unique approach to being an open world sandbox. But with these devs who make moves like the upcoming change to costume MP sales? Not really holding my breath.

F-K NO! RIP BDO, now weak players are even MORE able to kick strong players out of grind spots, karma bombers roaming free, as if it wasnt bad enough already, rip bdo
That's not true, because strong players can contest spots on Arsha channel without penalties. Maybe ask for some more karma-free PvP channels?

Why would anyone grief you once all changes are implemented?
I still understand that some grindspots require certain setup so is going to be a bother on those. However, generaly speaking, just hop to marni or the guy coming should do it. From there is a simple as taking turns. 1h in 1h out.
Outside very peculiar scenarios, I see 0 point to grief.
It's all just crocodile tears, mental gymnastics, and gaslighting. They are sad that soon the only people they will be able to freely fight, are those that are ready to fight them back.

If BDO gets rid of forced PvP they can get rid of the Karma system all together. If players can only PvP if both are flagged up, then they should both know what they're getting into and accept the outcome. No need to resort to a system to "punish" the offender if both are the offender.
BDO is not getting rid of it's forced PvP. BDO is just making it so that the loopholes that the geared and bored players was using to abuse much weaker players are now closed.
Only thing I see that the game needs is at least 3 or more normal No-Karma-Loss PvP channels. Then this game would be perfect. Us at least somewhat sane PvPers, and those who are coming up the pipe that don't have the gear to compete in Open World PvP both benefit.

Regarding karma changes. It's literally a singleplayer game now. All the crybababies who cry karmabombing have a recharchable infinite marni time to be as mathematically efficient as they want to be. But that's not why they hate it. They hate it because karmabombing was never a thing and always a pretext to kill lower geared players while feeling you have the moral superiority.
Karma and marni changes won't affect me at all since i'll play like always and always flag up and pk the first losers who types "dfs me plz good sir i require thy spot and my gear says i can have it"
