I hope they'll revamp the openworld pvp system at some point. Something to make it worth the risk. I miss the thrill of the possibility of getting pk'd while adventuring or lifeskilling. Back in the day if I got killed too many times while training I'd just switch to a low level alt, problem solved. It's been several months since I've been pk'd because it's not worth the bad karma. Having to have a guild accept a gvg before it starts is a lame idea. Hated when they did that on Tera. Loved doing a nexus and getting decked on, I'd get amped up seeing the countdown. Loved alliance pvp as well. Pvp was a major thing in that game. Then they made it to where both guilds had to accept, added sky castles which people hid in rather than fight, then took away alliance pvp, then had it to where you couldn't pk. All on a PVP server. Sadly this game is doing the same thing. Making the penalties way too steep and taking the risk factor away. Along with the thrill. I wished there was a way they could do something to balance it for people who like all forms of pvp as well as those who don't.
Then go to Arsha. Plenty of thrills there!

Is not never has been a solution stop suggesting it.
I understand your point of yiew but the majority of the playerbase hate forced PVP. When you are grinding, there are several reason why its just a waste of time instad of a enjoyment. I play since day one and the game evolved into something else. Pure Hardcore PVP players are maby 2-3 % of the playerbase and thats a high guess.
On what i can agree with, is that it needs a new way, were you can do pvp all day long and get at least something. I think you need to rework the Arsha sever and Seperate PVE from it and fill the Sever with PVP content. Ill working atm on a concept regarding to this topic.

I doubt the majority of players hate "forced PvP" it is more like the vocal minority actually hate forced PvP, a few really like it, and the majority are somewhere between find it minorly anoying to being glad it's around in some circumstances with most actually not caring one way or the other.

It is for many of us! I know that there are well geared players there, but I am not afraid of pvping.

As I said in another thread I think a bounty system would be cool. Have the bounty system replace karma. If you kill so many players a bounty should automatically be placed. A notice should pop up on peoples screens with the player's name and the bounty amount. The more players you kill, the higher the bounty. Whoever kills the outlaw and those that assist, get the silver. If the outlaw doesn't get killed in a certain amount of time the silver goes to them and the bounty is cleared. Or something like that. With high risks and high rewards. Something to make pvp worth while and give players incentive to partake. Or maybe introduce playable factions or something.
I would love this.
