Alright, I guess I am the problem then. Oh wait, I'm not. Since the longest time BDO has advertised as being the game I just describedit it as. It only started to change very very recently after all of a sudden a big influx of new players joined. Players who have no idea how mmo's work apparently. Cause an MMORPG litterally stands for: Massive Multi Online Role Playing Game. But with the addition of marni realms recharging every hour, this is now only 50% true.
You really think I am bitching about not being able to kill people when I want to kill them? Well, kinda. I would like to kill those "special people" who think it's fun to start grinding over other people, and not have to suffer any kind of consequence. On the other hand, I have never initiatiaded, nor ever will a griefing action. Quite frankly, I have often left a spot if conflict arose. And forced my guild members to do the same, or abide by the DFS policy. I am telling you, as someone who has been here since closed beta, someone who has pre ordered the game, that this is a bad change. And the fact that you are simply unwilling to see that is rather disturbing.
I hope you have fun fending off the griefers for the 50% of the time you are forced to play this MMORPG instead of the single player game you have when you are in marni. Cause I will no longer be there to help you, give advice, defend your spot for you, or any other kind of help that I used to offer as a GM of my own newbro friendly guild.
You brought this upon yourselves. As the saying goes: "Be careful what you wish for, cause it might come true."
Enjoy your single player PvE game mate.
Like I said before these changes won't affect me in the slightest. The same people who I fight with or against now will be the same people I fight with or against after these changes take affect. The only people these changes affect are PK griefers and players that are weak trying to gear up on the Lawful servers. If BDO was to lose a few griefers over these change, then I say good riddance. Node Wars will still be popping, RBF will still be popping, the PvP channels will still be popping. And the Devs are even adding in a 300 player PvP mode for us. So actually people like myself will have more content to PvP in.
Far as the singleplayer game gaslight theme. Still will have RBF, still will have Node Wars and siege, still will mutual GvGs, still will have group PvE grinding, still will have dungeon runs with groups of people. So I still don't know what you are worried about. Unless none of those are the content that you are chasing. And the content that you are chasing is getting even more restricted. Because it completely tramples on the fun of others.

someone took you place ! you have the right to declare to prevent him from stepping in your place ! if he left his guild to continue griefing ! next solution is to feed him to mobs...if he kept doing it just bring ur friend to farm him in his spawn. thats what i do toxic players.
Now they want this to keep going ! means toxic players will pick the fastest grinder class in the game and come to grief us ! i know many who would love to do that just to make me red name ! and sadly i will lose my spot as a fear/scary enemy to annoy. best i would do to feed him to mobs but i with nothing karma become a problem now ! i will be limited to how many times im gonna feed him before i ran out of my karma.
i love pvp when im grinding ! for the first time i will hate it . wish they do something about those who grief ! devs care about money more than anything ! future of bdo will be a disaster for sure as those griefers LOVE to piss people off in every grind.

No BDO will become single player MMORPG where everyone will grind in their marni realms, for rest of they day they will just afk but online to fill marni realm time 11hours for a each player is a lot, open world content is dead after this update. Solo grinding, solo life skilling, grinding anyway become pointless because you no longer need better gear to fight back your oponents, which tbh were rare anyway.. with my 7 months story with bdo I had maybe few DFSs..

then go to arsha if you love pvp while grinding

Im going to offer a consession here on behalf of pvpers that dont sit on arsha all the time. I often accuse people on both sides of this issue of smokescreening the issue because they dont want to admit there are cracks on both sides.
Why do people not wanna go to arsha? Because 99.5% of people that go there to pvp will get demolished by the players that stay there.
This seems like a bad hing to admit. They dont want to go there because they cant win enough, but really its not. Fun isnt all about winning, especially in competition. If you are really trying to compete you're going to lose a lot. ..but you need both. People need to both lose and win to have fun.
I like to play basketball. That dont mean every time i go to the park I wanna 2v2 against lebronn and jordan.
Thats what arsha is. one park. One court. every player there is a NBA hall of famer. for all but the less than 1% if they go there theyre going to ger disentegrated instantly by the siege guild demigod scale 740+ players that often use that channel. Even players that love to pvp dont want to lose every single fight. Especially in a game like BDO where often you die so instantly or unavoidably that you dont even realize what your mistake was.
Go to arsha would be a better argument if there were 7 or 10 arsha channels where 700-720 gs players can compete with eachother.

Just wanted to add people constantly say that the game was primarily advertised as a PvP central game, and thats just not true. Almost all of the ads they run for BDO are focused on adventure and exploration.
