PvP is the only reason to get geared in this game and a little action here and there adds some spice to the otherwise mind numbingly boring grind running in circles killing the same mobs for months at a time. All this change is going to do is make it impossible to defend youself without flagging and let griefers run rampant. People grinding over you isnt' any better than than PvP when it comes to "ruining" your perfect PVE hour.
Last note before someone comes in here saying people aren't going to just grind over you and grief. Play a season server the first week of a season and tell me i'm wrong.
Ehh? Clearly PA cares and they don't want new players to go play "other" games. That's why they are making changes to keep them. They clearly mentioned this in the new developer letter and they even apologised to players for taking such a long time to make these changes. I bet companies loves fans like you who want to chase away their potential customers 🙄

I welcome the changes with open arms. I trust the developers decisions more than some pvp Andy. Looks like soon this MMO may not be for you anymore?
The sad thing is the MMO genre is more than likely the only genre these types of beings are successful in. Because genres like Survival, or Battle Royal, and such. They can grind for like 10,000 hours or spend 1,000,0000 USDs on progression only for some skilled player to log on to that server and kill them with rags and wooden bow. Then they go and rage and hide back in the MMO genre where they can leverage their lack of lives, or bank account to use to harass others.
The problem is that this group of beings chase so many away. That MMO after MMO after MMO are starting to change to discourage these beings from doing so. Because lets face these group of players chase away more money then anything else in said MMOs. And corporations sure do love making more money.

Do you realize how asanine your take is? You literally just said deal with them grinding over you or leave. So bend the knee to someone taking your spot? I should have no choice but to leave or flag up and drop MY karma defending the spot I WAS GRINDING instead of leaving the perfectly fine system in place that allows me to not drop MY karma defending myself?

All the carebears are looking at it from the "i got dec'd on" standpoint and completely ignoring the situations where IT LITERALLY BENEFITS YOU TO DEC SOMEONE ELSE. It is a PvP game.

in the past I would agree with you as bdo launched as such but now it is a fully fledged mmo with lots of pve to do even dungeons and boss rush now. People
Grind to make money not pvp. You want pvp there's many spots for you that are not forced on a player and are choice. If you are being out farmed by another player then it's not your spot and there's plenty of other channels to grind on. Ya. Sure it's annoying your the one having to swap and tbh part of the issue I'd class pve balance but that's how it works.

Huh? I just literally copypasted that other dude's post and changed the words to killed and pvp to make my point that his perspective is actually *exactly* the same as the pvp players he despises.

Can we get 12h Marni already? I'm literally tired of 70 people on Orcs on every server at any time during the day. It's borderline impossible to have a full hour of peace. This morning I even had TWO people farming over me.
