I remember a few topics... well more like many of them actually, about suggestions, "solutions" to the karma system issue.

Most of the OP were talking about the issue where they lost karma while defending their spots. Which is legit. A griefer comes, he faces the consequences. But the first player who was there to grind had also consequences to face since he has to kill someone who comes and destroy his game.

The toxic there is not the first grinder but the griefer. They remain unpunished.

The solutions proposed by the OP didn't take every aspect in consideration. I mean sometimes you are the grinder and someone comes and wants to force dfs or kills you. The toxic is still that guy coming, and he ruins your farm. But since he's the one killing you, it's normal that he loses karma.

The solutions proposed took only on side of the problem in consideration, in order to allow grinders to defend themselves, but never their solutions proposed a safe system for those who are bullied on their own spot, killed by toxics.

Now, the exact opposite is happening: no safe system for those who want to defend their spots when they are being griefed.

Those grinders are simply being ignored.

I don't understand the fairness here...

All the people criticizing this OP are either trolls or recent players who don't understand what this game is about. 

first off "if you want pvp go do x" is entirely irrelevant and a red herring reply. While I actually think that open world pvp is the true pvp and most people who aren't baby snowflakes don't mind it, this is not even relevant to the topic at hand.

They don't "want pvp where they can bully noobs" like you false flagging liberals lifeskillers want to pretend, they want to have a free for all manner in which they can defend their grind rotation from idiots demanding they "share" without turning bdo into an empty theme park of instances. 

this is not a game to log in and grind alone in your marni realm. This is an open world sandbox mmorpg. You are objectively wrong if you support instances grinding. They took away TWELVE channels when the game had a lower population. You have three guild channels to insta swap and season servers with the no pvp you so desire... Marni realm once a day to use on the rare occurrence you have one time fancy buffs running and lose your spot.

so the removal of open world pvp just creates a season server problem with 5 noobs grinding over each other and nobody winning, and the worst solution is to instance those spots.

there are other grind spots. Go there. Given the existing MASSIVE penalties for negative karma, if someone is willing to go red for the spot and you can't beat them, you don't deserve the """privilege""" of going in circles for pennies at one spot vs another. Slightly less than maximum efficiency spots exist for the lower level/experience players to catch up uncontested because their upgrades are 1/10 the cost of someone near cap. Clearly this is a solution that those against pvp refuse to consider, yikes. Ego can't take it?

anyway I'd rather have fifty people clowning in one spot than instanced grinds all day for pilots to use so even if you're cringe and think people actually "grief" players with flagging or get your irl feelings hurt from dying in game, don't support instanced grind spots or you're a pilot. I've not sent a wardec in years and had long term decs on me and I don't support cringe single player pilot changes and neither should you 

My question would be: Is PA going to make the JP ToS change that made feeding to mobs reportable along with this? I cannot recall if PA has done that yet for NA/EU.

Because it's a logical alternative to normal servers if you don't like the upcoming changes, and NO ONE has logically explained why they don't want to go there versus being able to dec people who don't want to pvp
