ff14 and gw2 have their own launchers. Steam numbers may or may not represent the correct number of players ingame more like just the "steam players".

Edit: Lost Ark has a serious bot issue which can also alter steam numbers

Bdo has a launch client and this is the problem.  The player counter ist more than lost Ark and new world

its temporary efect caused by massive give aways, real numbers will be seen in 2-3 month's when initial hype chill outs ( 2-3 month's for mmorpg is nothing)

That is what happens when you release on steam when the MMO is decade old already, and then ontop of that do not provide means for existing non-steam users to migrate into steam - grand most of people likely to be interested in playing GW2 bought it within that decade of it not being available on steam, and will not contribute to steam charts after steam launch because even if they wanted, they could not migrate over.

Comparing steamcharts of GW2 to any MMO that went to steam either directly, or within first year from it's initial release, is at best woefull ignorance, or at worst intentional attempt at misinformation.

Also trying to discuss "most popular MMO on steam and steam alone" is pointless endeavour.

i also remind you than black desert was neither a steam mmorpg before 2017 and than people say best black desert version is no steam black desert and than no steam black desert population is 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 and did gw2 is f2p ?

because steam is the only to show number and every month you have random dude dont stopping to posting than black desert going to collapse, because new mmorpg, because gw2, wow, ff14, lost ark etc, so with steam number we can check who are the clowns
