Yes, I agree with this. I mean it worked in FFXIV. Maybe it's time BDO do the same. By rounding all these types of players up. And locked them all to a group of channels that they can't swap out of.

I mean they don't want to play with us, to the point they are demanding us to quit the game. And we don't want to play with them, to the point quite a few are requesting PvE only servers. So it seems like the sensible thing to do.

It's always amusing to watch people who served us the bDo Is DeAd narrative for years show up in topics about over population.

Furthermore, isn't quitting what you were supposed to have done years ago. I mean after pretending having played in the tray for years and embarrassing yourself with the "where is the delete account button on the website", how exactly does the ruleset of BDO affects you since nowadays you pretend not even having BDO installed.

Not enough room on Arsha for more than a handful of people.  There needs to be a penalty for repeated deaths in PvP, to offset the Karma loss people suffer.  If I gotta go red to get rid of some troll, they should lose XP, have rez sickness, or an increasing death timer.

Not enough room? The servers are almost empty. Just because only people with 700gs play there, and thus zerking the same 2-3 spots, doesn't mean they are full.

What, they should give everyone their own server?

Hello,

I am appealing to you Pearl Abbys to fix the karma system in the game. I am sick of the constant griefing and karma bombing on spots by people who have lost duel for spot. This kind of toxic behavior just destroys this game and many people have stopped playing Black Desert because of it.

For many years players have been asking for this system to be remodeled because it doesn't work properly and still nothing has changed. I am fed up. How many years can we be ignored as a community? I am asking you as the next thousandth person to remodel this system or eventually remove it from the game altogether.

GTFO regular servers and stay on Arsha then.

Not enough room on Arsha for more than a handful of people.  T

Completely false.  It has never been over crowded.  And if the 'elite' pvpers would actually play and stay on it, they'd have to consider making another Arsha server.

It's certainly a system that's needed an overhaul for years. There is a perverse incentive to die in pvp, since winning in pvp is actually a loss.

This is why we see players try to feed players to mobs instead, since the system incentivizes avoiding the repeated loss of karma.

I'd rather PA just embrace red players. Remove enhancement loss and crystal damage on death for red players (especially since we can now cleanse gear), add a bounty system that pays a few caphras for taking out a red player if an attacked player speaks to an npc in town within a few minutes of their death.

The penalty for being red should be the lack of access to main towns and settlements and the constant "threat" of being attacked by anyone. To a certain type of pvp player, that's actually a great way to add additional content to the game.

Everyone consented to being attacked and having the option to attack at level 50, so we don't have the worries other games do with adding a pvp system on top of a pve game. The constant potential for danger is a great selling point for this game-- seeing as how so few alternatives exist on the market-- and it's an excellent reinforcement of its sandbox.

That said, if someone doesn't want to pvp and clicked yes to get level 50 anyway, I'm all for pushing more systems that encourage those players to quit or reroll as a 49 lifeskiller. They're worth more to the game not playing (or gathering) than constantly complaining about something they volunteered to participate in.

That would cause a ton of griefing by high geared players.  Learn to share.

The perverse incentive to die in pvp is the problem. Arsha's existence doesn't fix that failure of design.

there is no incentive to die in pvp.  you are making things up.  go to arsha, tough guy

Some of you seem to have misunderstood what I mean. People come into the spot you are in, ask you for a duel, lose it, and then start griefing. When you start killing them, you lose karma. Is that fair? The karma system in this game is like glorifying the toxic behavior of players that is spoiling others' gameplay just because you can't do anything to them otherwise you will be on low karma and start losing crystals. You as the winner of the duel are on the losing end. You tell me to go to Arsha and I often sit there, but Arsha is only 1 server, often overcrowded with spots on higher AP and you can't grind there with loot scroll.
