I played at launch. Actually, before launch, I preordered this game and loved it (Had the Early Bird, Master Baiter, Tri-Athlete, Mother Lover, etc titles) but grew annoyed at Kakao Games and uninstalled the game. Well as it turns out, I lost that account in the purge when Pearl Abyss took over and now I am playing on a relatively new account. 

I know that I can never get back my old titles (I wish PA could see that I had them and give them back) but regardless, it would be nice if PA could go through the family and character names every so often and release them if they have been inactive for say 3 years or so. Freeing them up for this influx of new players. I would love to get my old family name back on this account.

You are basically asking for others to suffer the same fate as you did? :o

I am often surprised how many good names are unused on the EU realm. Sure, you got to be a little creative ("Gandalf" is probably taken for your wiz) but then again not THAT much.

Didnt all accounts, that wasnt transfered, got deleted? And didnt all Users reveived at least one Mail about the transfer? You came back and lost it all, because you didnt transfered and now you ask for take away other Players Family and Charnames, because of inactivity? Instead of take away others names, a name generator would be helpfull for those that run out of ideas.

No. I never said to "take away" from anyone. I said to release the names that are inactive/deleted/not playing anymore. Where did I ever insinuate taking anything from anyone? 

No. I never said to take anything away from anyone. I just said the names that are held up behind inactive/deleted accounts should be released to active players.

Names from deleted chars or accounts will be automaticly free for use again after a certain time (I think it was 7 days or so).

For inactive accounts: They still exists and still can come back!
So yes, you said "take away" the names of existing (but currently inactive) accounts!

Just remove the necessity of "unique" character names all together, the only thing that needs to be unique is the family name.  

I remember reading somewhere banned accounts' family and character names are made available after 40 days as well.
