last few days i have been afk training my horse when at work/sleeping, and almost every single time the horse randomly crashes and when i come back to my screen my guy is either just standing infront of it or jammed in to a wall or stuck behind something,
before i release him on his 'loop' i watch him for a few rounds just to be sure he doesn't get stuck and i pop my buffs and go away. the time it take for it to crash is unknown well because i am away obviously but its mostly different,
sometimes he gets a couple of levels sometimes 6-7 lvls, on rare occassions he survives trough the night but thats 1 out of 10 chance.
so i contacted support with this idea and they told me they will redirect the idea to their team so they can check it ; and came with the brilliant idea for a Horse Treadmill that work the same as the combat exp dummies, you know i am right and you also want this. it could be an instanced zone u purchase with cp in stonetail horse ranch? or maybe just for free i dont know,
so the horse can round around there bam its so flavorful omg why would u not want this, hes literally training. Let me(and the team) hear your thoughts! :) end.
I like that.
A few questions tho:
- you suggest we still need to be logged in for the horse to be training?
- maybe make it a grain mill or stuff like that, to fit the universe, what you think?
- this is for horse exp, but what about your trainer exp? You think we should still get some? Cause technically we won't be mounting the horse
when i come back to my screen my guy is either just standing infront of it or jammed in to a wall or stuck behind something,
If you are standing infront of your horse, someone attacked with charge, or any other skill that makes your horse stumble.
For the other problems:
Sometimes players just put monsters, objects, or themself in your path, so you get stuck.
If you are off your path and/or the path isn't set anymore, thats because of connection problems.
Sometimes it's because another player had connection problems or was charged of his horse and his autopath stopped and you got stuck behind him/her.
you make a good point that we wont be mounting the horse hm maybe something along the lines of a MotoGP motercycle racing simulator(google this)
for you and the horse to enjoy yaknow the same as exp training dummies work basically
change to elvia, drastically reduces chances of that
