Idk what these two clowns are on about above me but id like to see it return.
The game mode wasnt good enough to be a stand alone game but meant I could make legitimate gains through PvP. If BDO allowed me to gear through PvP I'd honestly stop taking such long breaks.
Lets be real though, PA have no idea what to do with PvP if you look at the dogs**t change that was DR in RBF.

Won't happen.
It turned out badly, and with all the cheating mess that appeared later it really spiraled out of control.
Part of me believes they wanted to make this Shadow Arena as a standalone game to begin with, and only put it in BDO to see how players react to it. It is most likely a tinfoil theory, but I believe if PA wanted to keep shadow arena in the game, they could have fixed problems it had.
Maybe fixing them would just take too much resources or time? Probably. I don't think Shadow Arena was bringing PA any income. It was just there as some ''minigame'' to do on the side when you get tired of normal BDO activities. No need to invest in something if it doesn't bring you any money, is what they thought probably, and scrapped the project alltogether. At least thats my personal opinion.
Shame, I did have fun in it. I didn't even play it properly though. Was always the second or third place without any gear because I just liked to play hide-and-seek and run around haha.

I make 300 to 500m an hour in Elvia...
No where near that in SA lmao
Had to do with progression in PvP not how much I made per hour.
Dont assume anything if you have nothing to base it off of. I'd trade a consistant 100m per hour in PvP than 500m an hour in PvE.

Elvia should be plenty of pvp, especially if you grind the spots where you make 300 to 500m per hour.
Personally I really dislike Shadow Arena and don't think it has a place within BDO.
Why not buff rewards of RBF? Or maybe add 1v1, 3v3 and 5v5 arenas with matchmaking that give rewards for winning.

Uwotm8? Absolutely NOT! I do not even miss this. One single class dominated the arena at all times.
