Like I said in the title, remove this stupid "feature" that makes actively travelling anywhere an infuriating nightmare. What was even the thinking behind this? Did they not realise that literally moving anywhere requires holding a key down for long periods of time? And it doesn't even matter if you're steering with a mouse, it still will stop your horse or character. And I'm sure I'm an outlier here, but I really rather enjoy actively travelling on a horse in this game, which is darn near impossible now. I can't even go the relatively short distance between Kusha and Altinova without my horse stopping several times. There have been a lot of bad updates recently, but this one really takes the cake. It's almost like they're trying to discourage people from actively playing their game.

So I constantly hold W or Shift+W while sailing or horse riding (if not autopathing).  So now it just stops working if you hold it for more than a minute?  lmfao.

Limiting constantly holding of the attack key (like LMB or whatever the action is bound to) is OK, but limiting constantly holding of movement keys is just stupid!

I hope they reverse it asap!

if your camera is moving it shouldn't enable the new blocker...

Someone somewhere got ticked about someone somewhere making minimal afk agains by holding a key down.  Maybe a ranger autogrinidng somewhere?  So PA decided to do something about it by breaking the game.  Again, some tiny problem being cried about by one person gets picked up on by the devs and we all have to suffer the consequences.

I'm tired of this nonsense.  I wish:

1. That they actually play the game

2. That they listen to the demands and wishes of the many instead of the few

3. If they wish to "fix" something, they would present it to us first and see if we think it's wroth correcting.

Someone figuring out how to afk fight somewhere?  Kudos!  But I bet Coelecanth fishing brings in much more afk dough.

It's because of the AFK grinding at Star's End towers

And I only saw one thread about that.  I wonder how game-breaking that really was?  And was this even the right solution?  And what about all the other broken parts of the game?  All the threads posted concerning them?  And this one happened to be the one they "fixed"?

Being locked out of access to the stars end towers by 740 guardians that want to play games on a 2nd computer while literally putting their foot on a keyboard was rather bad.  PA should have just made a statement that 3 button stationary grinding was against ToS, if you are caught doing it even while at the keyboard, you will be given a 1st warning, 2nd suspension, 3rd longer suspension, 4th banned.  Rather than adding mechanics like Knock backs to try and solve it, then ignoring it for a year.  They could have solved it by actually having the GMs do something about it.  A big anouncement and then action on even a 1 account that eventually led to a ban would get the rest of the people to stop because of the crying reddit post that would have followed.

OR OR OR OR OR.  instead of doing all that, remove the combat assistance feature from the game that auto turns your camera.  Even if they altered the mechanic so that it cannot auto target/turn to a target behind your camera vision.  

100 ways to solve the problem but they chose the one that destroyed the ability to actively move yourself from point A to point B.

was a nothingburger, there were 3 posts about it, and they didnt even bother to show how much s/h you make there. not to mention that the pillar disappears at some point and all of those 3 were actively moving the camera to position the aoe better in their examples, but were championing that its a "afk" exploit for 700m/h eventho you barely make as much actively grinding there.

Me personally, didnt even bother to find out myself, if activegrinding is about 1 disto/h and about 7k trash afk grinding on any class could never be even close to HALF of that. Now i have to get cucked on my train valk and have to use Z buff whenever the "feature" activates. At least i will never miss Z buff now lmao

You were griefing yourself i you were not putting buffs on F and using that on CD even at 1 hit spots, because you can get higher move/attack speed on  your F than you can on RMB+Space.
