Also if someone really "need" crystal breaking system just give them a deal, a gamble.

You can get Bonus Drop chance for risk of crystal break after death. Heck 100% at least one will break but durring gamble you get +50% drop chance that stack with scroll.

Simple as that.

I think crystal breaking nowadays is too much of a loss with how rare some of the crystals are. It's not the silver expense that puts players off from trying harder content but the availability of replacing the crystals that they lose. The loss can be especially heartbreaking when you died to circumstances outside your control such as the game server being laggy and delaying any inputs that would keep you alive. I would suggest giving crystals durability like gear but you can only repair crystals with, for example, black stone powder or magical shards depending on the type of crystal. PvE deaths would reduce durability of all crystals and deaths when negative karma would double the durability loss. Using materials from grinding down crystals as the repair material keeps the crystal economy in place, if anything, enhancing it.

I have still learning the game, knowing crystals would break I have not really invested on them, gimping myself further. 

Borrow the Alchemy Stone recharge mechanic and apply it to Crystals. Death reduces durability until 0 when the crystal stops working, then recharge via exsisting mats or a new mat specific for crystals.

I went to some spots I haven't grinded before. I've died a few times before learning the mechanics/rotation and used many tears. It was a fun change, and I'm sad to see it gone.

Back to not using good crystals for fear of breaking them in harder spots.

+1 make crystals permanent or just introduce some protection system, idk pay 100k for protection for 1 crystal, that way u can just spend like 1b for all crystals and play chill

NA internet is notortiously bad for reliability.

In other games its not a big deal. It hiccups for 2-3 seconds and you're back in.

On BDO it shoots you to the reconnect screen and sits you there for 50 seconds even if the interruption is just 2-3 seconds.

Regardless in other games you dont lose an item that costs 6 hours of grinding and 5 months of waiting if your internet happens to hiccup.

Crystal breaking is a mechanic designed with Korean infrastructure in mind

Bad idea because:
1. Destroying the Crystal Market
2. Where is the punishment for being bad? I undertstand the point of trying out a spot -when where should be a new realm for testing out a spot without Drops - so ppl can test a spot without loosing crystals but taking out it completly - sorry but i want to play an MMORPG where are risk included - and not a grind simulator to fall asleep - bcs i cant loose anything anyway
loosing EXP? sorry we have ton of tears anyway

For me, there's no point in buying expensive crystals if they can break. I'll stick to my cheap crystal set up.
