I feel like this is the biggest issue
I dont even really mind losing them on death due to gameplay (Still would prefer it gone)
When you die to internet/server related issues its just an ultimate vibe killer. Instant logout for the day.
I dont see a way they could detect internet/server issues to safeguard crystals without opening a way to exploit it and in general most people want crystal breaking gone anyways even through "skill issue" in gameplay so just get rid of crystal breaking. We dont need Durability. We don't need insurance. We dont need more micromanagey systems that are what keeps new players away and overwhelmed. Crystals dont break on death. Simple.
Imagine them following through with this idea....
PvE would be 1000% better.
i agree, but i only have one exception: if some ne is force pvp me the punishment for that individual will have to remain.
Of course you can.
What I meant is that people can't log in the game saying "today I'm gonna grind 10 hours at spot x and sell all the Rebellious Crystals I drop", cause there are no spots where you can grind that crystal. The low supply and high price of those crystals in the central market is regulated by the fact that they are hard to get and limited by bottle neck items, not by people having to rebuy them cause they broke them.
The same reason why a blade or strike lightstone are 4bil~ even if they don't break on death.
Exactly my thoughts as well, I only responded so you could spell it out for people who would jump on your comment and claim that all off it was "a lie" because you just wrote your thoughts at a higher level of understanding. Thank you for expanding on it and explaining it so no one can dispute your point!

PVE was 1000% better during this event. The end of the event killed the enjoyment of exploring and trying new content in my honest opinion. Please PA, make this event permanent!
If PA pushes this to permanent, I'll quit the game and go back to real life. It's called RISK VS REWARD. You're RISKING your gems for better REWARDS.
Furthermore you can get PA to restore your gems at least TWICE per year, I'd rather see it set to twice per month, so a total of 24 gem restores per year. You have to report the gem loss within 72 hours of losing it. Which is completely fair for a time frame. Instead of making them permanent, why not increase the frequency of drops? Why not add a weekly quest with an RNG box that can give you another RNG box that'll give you either fragment pieces, tier 2 gem, or a full tear?
There are so many better options than making these event permanent.

The risk is too high.
The game incentivizes me to just hug elvia orcs and not poke my head out of that zone.
Crystals are of too much importance in someone's gear to just say "I won't buy them".
Why are you so much against people being able to leave zones they're overgeared for and actually try out new zones they're supposed to be in, without the anxiety of losing hours invested in the game?
It's not enhancing and gambling we're talking about.
If you like the current state so much, you can always punish yourself on your own whenever you die if they go through with the change. Just raw extract a random crystal from your gear so you can keep having fun! :)

Don't forget, they have to roll a dice before extracting the crystal to see if RNG is on their side or not for their punishment.
