Give us non break on pve content, specially when if and when guild war upgrade  comes ppl will start to feed others to mobs to break their crystals.. 

I would love to use my main char on world bosses with crystals active without fear i break those.. Would be also nice to Grind on higher areas without fear you lose crystal... cant replace as crystals on PO's.. 

The problem is bying/selling crystals is part of the economic cycle....

If they never break, you never buy again...

But as it is, i also leave my 'good expensive' crystals in my inventory where they decorate, and play PVE on a budget Set i can afford losing...

So indeed, i never buy again anyway....

Can we juste get it out and leave it with minimum prices ? i don't know but actual prices are too punishing for losing best crystals...

Devs can add new uses for crystals, so that they don't lose too much value... But the most important here is the bigger picture, you can lose crystals even if you do not make any mistake. 

And devs have to be consistent too : they removed exp loss because it gave too much power of nuisance to pkers. So why not remove crystal loss which gives much power to mob feeders, though it should necessarily happen at the same time than the suppression of bodythrowing (others usually call that "karmabombing")? 

I'd support just removing the breaking, as it is a pain, but think it is worth considering the trade-off PA might see (dead crystal market, and arguably less tension since deaths effectively become meaningless). )

I kinda wonder if an insurance system might work better. Where you can buy a 'policy' that prevents a fixed amount of breaks either directly from an NPC for silver, or by trading the NPC the same crystal to gain 2 break protections.

Idea there is for things like Girins, you'd buy the policy directly (capped at, say, 100m per 'break', and preventing the ridiculously inflated break cost with them adding 1b+ / very rare crystals)

For lower end crystals, you'd turn in another crystal because it's cheaper than paying 100m silver, keeping the market flowing.

Just a consideration. As I said if they remove it completely I'd 100% support that too.

I'm not sure, is this the most endorsed topic in the history of BDO on these forums? It's pretty nuts how popular and requested this is. I hope someone over at PA is looking at this.

I'd vouch for the need of this. Especially with the release of the new LotM expansion where various of BiS crystals were released. All of these crystals being on the expensive side of crystals as well as having a "very high" chance of breaking for some reason.

A lot of people had used the crystal restoration attempts prior to the release of the new expansion, unaware that newer crystals would go up to 5b. I'd either say make the event permanent or at least give players a crystal restoration use each month and make it an in game feature rather than having to wait for a response from a ticket.

Furthermore, recently I've had a random amount of crashes on BDO, which simply means if I crash during a grind, I'd have to accept the loss of a potential very valuable crystal which I'd have to use hours to grind back (Has already happened once). It's just not a fun experience to constantly have to worry about your crystals breaking.

And for the people saying it would crash the market, just how often do you think people die in game? From my experiences people die with months interval in between, and when it does happen, it's a very unfortunate death due to a simple slip up. The death penalty for this game is frankly too outdated and harsh, there has got to be a way around this than to force people to grind their losses back.

Lost a rebellious today at orcs because my game stopped registering hits on monsters while my health just slowly depleted while I'm 20ft away running from them.... 1,200,000,000 gold down the drain with my hands tied behind my back. Logged off.

Was it my internet? (I was watching a 1080p 60fps stream while it was happening so I doubt it...)

Was it the servers?

Either answer is problematic. Players should not be punished so harshly for things outside of their control while doing such menial tasks like grinding mobs. If you want to have crystal break to add "excitement" to hard boss encounters like attoraxion dungeons go ahead. But when you ask players to grind hours and hours to progress the chances of desync/lag/errors occuring during this time is just too common. 

Someone needs to post this on Korean forum because .. when did they ever listened to NA EU?
