Tired of the only sane way to progress being grinding mobs that present little to no threat outside of internet connection lapses or server lag.
PvE is only fun and engaging when the mobs can kick your ass. It's not fun when you can lose billions in a single death and end up barely making anything or going negative for an hour grind.
Don't make PvE easier or classes more protected, make the PvE kick your ass and be a challenge but don't monetarily punish the player so severely for it. The last time I knew any of the people that I knew (when they still played) had fun was the no crystal breaking event.
Turns out it's fun when in a videogame you can throw yourself at a challenge that can kick your teeth in. Then through skilled gameplay, hard work, and learning the mechanics, to be able to overcome the challenge.

Exactly, a game should be challenging, making me learn classes, mechanics, push my reflexes, etc. Make me lose buffs and have me run back for 5 minutes when I die, fine. Make me pay 50 million for every death with endgame gear, fine. But with the current system of massive punishment, the sensible thing to do is to grind orcs, then some orcs, then orcs, maybe giants, maybe orcs, some giants, then orcs. Uhhh.
Actively wanting to lose progress that many hours went into is masochism. Players with such twisted sense of achievement have my sympathies, as such a strong need to undermine oneself and to disrespect one's own time must be difficult to live with. But obviously these are rather rare fantasies within the playerbase. Or simply trolling.
Why is this nonsense topic still ongoing? Some admin may close the topic? xD
We all know that PA won´t give us the permanent crystal loss event, especially after they introduced a simplification from the support ticket recovery.
You should rather spend your time making a topic on asking for the devs making more Multiplayer-Meaningful content in this game, rather than wasting time on this crystal QoL things, which won´t happen in the near future anyways. Common sense ay!
As of 13th dec. 2023 maint. the solution is made simplified with a ingame-button guys! 3x per year recovery with the click of a button...
But to be fair, the whole game isn´t and was never fun guys xD It lacks the whole concept of a MMO.. You ask for fun, ask first to have the real basics of a diverse and dynamic MMO world to be implemented in BDO..
currently BDO is this --> it is simply a MSO = Massively Singleplayer Onlinegame (= playing alone for a long time = no Fun, no Meaningful Memories)
Guild Content is dead (no guild instances/dungeons/no margoria guild battles),
PVP is massively punished = dead too,
Nodewars inacessible for beginner guilds = dead (only few guilds competing each week the same),
only 1 dungeon per week for 5 player parties (for 1-2 hours per week),
except for the dungeon no support class needed..
Boss Blitz capped too to 1 hour per week = dead content too..
PVE is gear-capped = no motivation to grind for,
incl. only 1 gear set = boring..
incl. more than 20 female classes (no diversity, no dif. species) = boring too...
so no sense to keep playing the game, if the company PA doesn´t change this whole bunch of things to a 180 degrees in less than 2 years..

Well, if you have no reason to play the game, why don't you quit and stop derailing threads of other players who make suggestions that aim to improve the game? The thread is not resolved, because increasing the failsafe number of crystal restores from 2 to 3, even though it is now automatic, does not resolve the core problem of high-cost crystal breaking for reasons out of players' hands. As a bare minimum, the crystal restores should be rechargeable with reasonable costs.

We bugged them about infinite pots in the family inventory for 3 years and they told us no so many times. Guess where you can place them now?
I'm not gonna stop asking until they give this very simple and easy implementation that they already have the code for.
You should NEVER be punished by having power removed from your character. The punishment should be a hit to your efficiency.
