Let me preface this saying that for Sorceress, some of the outfits don't have the right hand glove or have this part of the outfit altered to minimize clipping with the mainhand weapon. This is understandable and not the topic of this report.
However, there are some outfits that do have the right hand glove (and you can see it when your weapon is unequipped, for example when fishing), but it gets hidden by certain (most) amulet skins. Again, understandable. Lastly, there are certain amulet and glove skins that will always show the right hand glove, because their design does not cause many clipping issues.
What I want to report is some anomalies with this behavior, especially with skins that are almost identical to each other, but have different behavior in this matter.
Example 1. Glorious Shudad and Shudad Black amulet skin
Shudad Black amulet does not hide the gloves (good). Glorious Shudad amulet hides the gloves (bad). These amulet are the same model except for Shudad Black being undyeable. They should behave the same way.
Solution: Fix Glorious Shudad amulet to NOT hide the glove.
Example 2. Bern gloves and Khamsin/Oblivion gloves
Bern gloves are never hidden by any amulet skin. No matter what amulet skin you equip, you will always see the Bern right hand glove underneath it (good). These gloves are pretty flat so it doesn't cause clipping issues. Khamsin outfit does not have separate gloves, but its right hand sleeve acts the same way as gloves and gets cut off if you equip most amulet skins (bad). Khamsin glove-part and Bern gloves have very similar design, so they should behave the same way. Oblivion gloves curerntly act the same as Khamsin glove-part. They should behave like Bern gloves instead.
Solution: Fix Khamsin glove-part and Oblivion gloves to always SHOW underneath the amulet.
Example 3. Orzeca's Rose gloves and Iron Thorn gloves
Orzeca's Rose gloves are never hidden by any amulet skin (good). They are mostly just nail color, so it makes sense. Iron Thorn right glove is also mostly just nail color, but it is always hidden by amulet skins (bad). Since both of these gloves are similar and don't cause bad clipping issues, they should behave the same way and always show underneath the amulet.
Solution: Fix Iron Thorn glove to always SHOW underneath the amulet.
Sorry for the lengthy post, but an in-depth explanation was needed, because it's easy to confuse this with the design choice I mentioned at the beginning. In summary, these are the fixes needed:
- Glorious Shudad amulet should NOT hide the glove
- Khamsin glove-part should always SHOW underneath the amulet
- Oblivion glove should always SHOW underneath the amulet
- Iron Thorn glove should always SHOW underneath the amulet
